We're first
Willowstorm mewed with evident delight, looking around the clearing through Snowstar's eyes. So ...what shall we do this gathering. Insult Earthstar? Or admit what you feel for him and the secret kittens you have. Sensing a feeling or surprise in her daughter, Willowstar cackled evily. Oh yes, I do know about Heatherkit, Lightningkit, Kestrelkit and Kettlekit. Perhaps we should bring them here... perhaps they would like to hear from their mothers mouth. We all know how close a mother and daughter can be eh. Willowstorm cackled again and padded forwards, feeling the moonlight bathing Snowstar's shoulders. She looked around, listening hard for any other sound of the approaching clans. Perhaps there was movement from the Lakeclan border ...it was hard to tell with the crashing and creaking of the Dreamclan cats arriving behind her.

Moxie padded down the slope behind Snowstar, enjoying the silvery feeling of moonlight on her pelt. She had watched this ceremony so often from the trees behind the highrock, drinking in the assembled faces. And now she was amongst them. She couldn't resist peeking up at her old spot, trying to spot anyone else. Then she tore her eyes away and looked down at Ravenpaw. "First time?" She queried. "Or did you come... before?" She did not like mentioning Silverfang's name. After all, she had seen him killed.
Stormseeker looked back absently at Stoneriver. "Really?" he asked with a dry laugh. "The first? I can't be the only one left who knew him?" He dropped lightly down off the bare rock and onto the springy grass that led down to Gathering hollow. He landed as though he had suddenly gained an extra kilo in the drop and hobbled a couple of uncertain steps. "Wasn't... prepared... for that..." he grunted.

Dawnfire trudged along with the DreamClan cats.No scent in the air except for theirs.I wonder if he'll be here tonight as well? She thought to herself but then shook that thought out of her head and kept on walking behind Stormseeker in a gaze. Almost bumping into him she stopped and walked around him and kept on going wondering what was going to be said.

Snowstar groaned within her mind, finding no emotion whatsoever. At first it had been pure hatred she felt towards her mother, and then love, but now it was just annoyance. "I don't care what you do, Willowstorm, kill my kits, tell everyone I love Earthstar - what does it matter? You win." But Snowstar could barely breathe at the thought of Earthstar hating her, or being there that night. Did he hate her, for what she had been forced to do? She had to breathe deeply and fight back tears, but they never saw each other anymore... That was the final straw, she needed to get their kits back together again.
With the cats who had been announced to go ( whoever Fudgey decided(s) ) to the gathering. Having decided to be normal and show up late, Appleblossom traveled slowly as they walked on and blamed it on others. As LakeClan entered the clearing, she growled at the fact they were the second there. Pouncing onto Earthstar's stone, with his body of course, she smiled at Snowstar with a deep, menacing growl. "Oh, greetings, Snowstar." But Appleblossom was just being annoying again.

Lakeclan - Ashfeather Ashfeather eagerly searched the faces of Dreamclan. Then he saw her. The face he had wanted to see. Keeping his eyes glued to that face, he sideled over to a feet feet away from where the flame pelted she cat was sitting, casting sidelong glances at her. So far Silverfoot hadn't followed him there, and hopefully he wouldn't. The last thing he wanted was his brother to be there to monitor him at a time like this. Of course, the moment he had clapped eyes on Dawnfire all his thoughts of "Forget about it." and "That's ridiculous." had flown out of his mind. He hoped fervently that she would see him and come over.

Earthstar couldn’t help but to groan, even though he was trying his best to appear helpless and completely given up. ”Whatever” he mewed quickly as a rebound, not even looking at Snowstar, lest his emotions become high enough for her to read. ”I already told you; you win. What’s the point in all of this. It’s too late, I already told you.” He yawned pointedly and looked lazily at her. It would be good to get the Fireclan she-cat’s temper up too. A mad cat was a weak cat.
”Oh, hello Earthstar” Willowstar growled as a reply, equally menacing. ”Want a chat now …or later- in front of all the clans?”
ooc;; Ahhhhh! Teh Writers Block!!!

<Dreamclan> The first time at the Gathering! It was so fascinating; now she would be able to experiance it for herself! Adderpaw had gone one time before, and he had come back with a buoyant attitude and flouncy steps, his attitude towards her then, however, still the same. "It was amazing!" he had gleefully meowed, more so in a gloating manner. "You should have been there. I got to see all the other leaders and their deputies, not to mention all the other cats that belonged to their Clan!"It was there, that memory, still "freshly imprinted" in her mind's eye. Then again, most moments she had with Adderpaw, untrifling or meaningful alike, which wasn't so much, was more clearer to her than ever. She had an educational estimate about that: it had to be because of his death--no. Murder. Trotting after Moxie, Ravenpaw's scattered attention drifted around her, first paying attention to the shimmering, luminiscent moon above, then to a busy bee that buzzed right past her quivering nose. Her ears twitching, she cast her gaze around her once more, this time, more observant. DreamClan was the first to get here; intriguing. At first, she thought they were the only Clan there, but then Earthstar caught her focus, and her eyes ghosted over to him. From his smell, which instinctively wrinkled her nose, he had to be that of LakeClan, which meant they weren't the only ones at the Gathering now. Of course, not paying much mind of what was ahead of her, the black she-cat bumped into Moxie's sleek grey form at her friendly questioning. Smoothing down the rumpled fur on her chest, she gave an apologetic meow before answering. "Mhm. It's my first time actually attending. Silverfang never really suggested that I should go." She barely said her former mentor's name, but she couldn't be afraid to utter his name any longer. It was only a name, after all, and couldn't bring the dead to life because of it being exclaimed.

Dawnfire turned her gaze towards Ashfeather. Her green eyes narrowed as she gazed at him for a moment thinking that she saw him once or twice. Then it hit her.At the border and at the apprentice contest. She stood up and padded toward him and then hissed lowly "What were you doing in DreamClan territory!?"

Whitewhisker, Fadedheart began, walking briskly after DreamClan with a broad smile on his face. There was no need for mixed genders, for both were toms. Your weakness is making me dizzy, I've never felt something so delicious. This is my bliss. I will ruin your life. Fadedheart purred and noticed something, a scent. This scent of kit, wonderous kit that made him drool in excitement. This kit smelled of so many different scents, especially with the distinct nose that Fadedheart had from Whitewhisker's body. The medicine cat was so weak, Fadedheart had completely obtained control. He glanced to his right, which led to the ferns, and noticed a kit watching the gathering eagerly and almost in a determined way... His eyes were just like Earthstar's. Lightningkit prayed that, maybe, Heatherkit would've showed at this gathering. He wanted Heatherkit to forgive him, it was his greatest desire. What he'd said, most of it, was true - but he didn't mean to offend her so terribly. As LakeClan entered, he realized that Heatherkit had not returned to her "birth" Clan. He stood strong with the theory that they were related. He was defiant, more determined to prove that they were brother and sister - maybe just because he wanted to be. Appleblossom scratched her claw against the rock and made a high-pitched, earsplitting sound. She looked down through Earthstar's eyes and saw that, in his entire front left paw, the claws were now jagged and bent in different directions. That should bring him pain, emotional and physical. The FireClan cat looked at Willowstorm, which was really Snowstar, and cackled softly. "You know, I don't really know. That would be fantastic, though, Silverfang and Scarletvixen would grow angry...however -" With a deep smile, she unsheathed her claws and fiercely slashed Snowstar across the face. "How could you, Snowstar? Betraying DreamClan?" Without SunClan and BoulderClan there, this was the perfect opportunity. Snowstar gasped and fell back as she felt an imaginary force slash against her cheeks, and it pained her terribly. Gasping, she fell backward and looked at Earthstar through her eyes, though she had no control. "Don't!" She gasped, knowing her life would be terribly ruined - she didn't want that. "You're my mother, why do you hate me so much?" Snowstar felt defiant in asking that question, she'd never really known the answer. Shiningfrost felt stronger. She'd decided to help Scarletvixen, once and for all. She cackled under her breath in her mind, feeling power coursing through her veins. "What are you going to do?" She asked, feeling filled to the brim with excitement. Though her thoughts, at the that moment, kept screaming the same thing in a raspy tone. Kill, kill...[/blockquote]

Moonshadow.. Dreamclan Moonshadow padded into the gathering, her shadow black fur almost blending her directly into the shade. The warrior had not been to a Gathering for a while now and didn't know if anything was different. Scents of all different clans rushed through her. The deep blue orbs shone from the scarce moonlight. Looking around, the curious feline looked to see if there was anyone she could talk to. Moonshadow felt as if she was a new apprentice, it made her amused with herself I was already an apprentice once, I'm a warrior now. I should know things. those words crossed her mind. A leaf drifted from the trees and landed infront of her. The sound of meows where coming from every which way as the gathering was at a greeting point. Even though she was most likely not to be very talkative she still enjoyed seeing some happiness in cats which this was their first gathering. Or seeing elders that had been to many gatherings. But the thing that she wondered the most is that what would go on in this gathering.

ooc// So, I'm confused. Which cats from each clan are coming to the gathering? Can the leaders give me a breakdown please? :3 Whitewhisker merely twitched his tail, watching from inside his mind as Fadedheart controlled his body. His eyes were almost dull, a cloudy haze misting them. A thousand thoughts swirled inside his mind, jumbled together so that Fadedheart could not make out any of what he was thinking.. Little did the Fireclan cat know, Whitewhisker was biding his time, waiting for the right moment to strike at Fadedheart and regain control of his body. His claws flexed involuntarily. Boy, Whitewhisker couldn't wait.

Earthstar hissed loudly as his claws were grated against the rock, wincing as the pain shot up his fore-leg at high speed. But he had dealt with worse; what mattered to him was the mutilation of his loved and tended claws. Filth he hissed at Appleblossom, wincing once more as he listened to her words, completely helpless to change a thing. What would happen next; would Snowstar rise to the bait? Would he care if she did. Suddenly he remembered his plan and let out a long, low moan of pain. Filthy pain he mewed, hoping she would think he meant to say that all along. A pretty wild hope but he didn’t have much of another choice. Nice move Earthstar mewed, half sarcastically, half in { false } admiration for Appleblossom. She had to think he was on her side. He sighed again, his barrel-like tabby sides rising and falling slowly.
Hissing through a seemingly closed mouth, Scarletvixen’s eyes flashed angrily. She didn’t know what to do; of course it had all sounded easy when they discussed it in the fiery caverns of Fireclan, but now she was actually in control of Shiningfrost and had won her over there didn’t seem anything else she could do. Appleblossom had been given all the big jobs, the jobs to talk to the other clan leaders and try and persuade them all to join forces then … Scarletvixen racked her brains, combing down Shiningfrost’s whiskers at the same time. As soon as she realized what she was doing she stropped at once. It was just an old habit she hadn’t been able to crush. What had been the plan next? Oh yes; find a way to become solid again and regain control over all four combined clans. A difficult task but no doubt it was possible …but first they needed all four clans together. Seeing Appleblossom/Earthstar leap up onto the high-rock and start creating a fuss with Snowstar, Scarletvixen rolled her eyes. Shiningfrost my friend she drawled, watching the place she knew Sunclan would appear from. It’s time to take matters into out own paws.
Not again Cornflower mewed wearily, scratching at the soil beneath their paws in frustration. Every gathering, apprentice contest and any other occasion that the four clans met Earthstar had to cause trouble. The golden she-cat doubted that he had the restraint in himself not to. Very tempted to yowl shut up Earthstar up at their leader but not brave enough to risk having an ear clawed off for her troubles, Cornflower busied herself scanning the Dreamclan cats, for no real reason. The recipient of her words was meant to be Thunderfoot, for he still padded next to her. Her apprentice had not turned up. So, want to go and make friends? she asked Thunderfoot, still looking towards the Dreamclan cats and wearing an expression in her amber eyes that clearly said unlike what Earthstar is doing.
Not feeling anything but knowing her daughter would, Willowstar struck back instantly, half in reactions, half in fury. No cat got away with clawing her without getting the ---- clawed out of them back. What do you mean Appleblossom she sneered, forgetting to call Appleblossom ‘Earthstar’ in her rage. Appleblossom was probably only doing this to stir up tension and inflict physiological and physical pain on their two captives; but to Willowstorm, anyone who attacked her would not get away with it. Hissing, spitting and her sides heaving, Willowstorm drew back from Appleblossom/Earthstar a few paces and stood watching them, not moving her eyes from the two of them. Because you’re pathetic
she replied to Snowstar angrily, keeping her focus on the Lakeclan cat still. Your first gathering? Moongaze asked Maplepaw, excitement shining from his face as though it was his first too. Even though he had gone to at least half a dozen gatherings before; Moongaze still found it a thrill to see so many cats that he could fight against any day. But he still remembered his first gathering, the shock of smelling so many scents, oily Lakeclan, dusty Dreamclan and sour Boulderclan, the excitement as he sat in silence and listened to the other cats discusses ‘grown - up’ matters as they used to be called. The thrill of making a new friend, the anticipation that you might fight them one day, then the jubilation of returning back to the cozy camp and getting to brag about your exploits to anyone who’d listen. No; nothing beat the first gathering. Seeing his mate appear beside him, Moongaze gave her a quick lick on the ears, very conscious and slightly uncomfortable of Maplepaw’s presence. It wasn’t that he didn’t want her around, but Moongaze had always been hopeless around she-cats and having two right next to him…

Sunclan - Maplepaw The cinnamon apprentice nodded, whiskers twitching with anticipation. "Yes, it is!" she mewed, not sure whether to be excited or nervous around so many cats- most of whom she didn't even know. And all the smells! She recognized them from the apprentice contest, but they were much stronger here. She looked around at all the different cats. Grouped together they reminded her of Sunclan territory in autumn, when orange leaves were on the trees, the brown earth, the bare, gray plants... Maplepaw was so entrenched in her thoughts that she didn't even notice Sunset. She had began to search through the many faces to try and find her friends Onionpaw and Dovepaw. "Moongaze?" she asked, slightly apprehensively. She hoped he wouldn't get the wrong impression by what she was about to ask. "can I go find my friends?" her amber eyes gazed serenely up at him, hoping he wouldn't think she didn't want to be with him- and also hoping he would say yes.Lakeclan - Ashfeather Ashfeather laughed. "Ah! We meet again!" he meowed smoothly. "I thought you knew what I was doing! But I didn't do any harm, did I? And besides, anyone could lose track of where they are while chasing a rabbit." he chuckled and flashed a smile. He felt rather strange acting this way in front of her, but being flirty and cheesy was all he knew how to be around she cats. Really he was shaking in his fur boots! But this she-cat was different. She didn't fall for his tom foolery like all the others did. She was made of something... "So, how's it going- er," he looked expectantly at the fiery she-cat, waiting for her to supply her name.

"You do realize I can hear you?" Both Fadedheart and Appleblossom said this to the mere vapor of a cat they were controlling.
Fadedheart laughed at the foolish attempt he'd heard vaguely, deep within Whitewhisker's subconscious. It was nice, almost as if he had the ability to read minds. He glanced to Lightningkit again and smiled, walking forward. "What are you doing here little kitten?" He asked, pushing the kitten farther and farther away as he disappeared. And then, unexpectedly, he lifted Lightningkit by the throat with an unsheathed paw.
Lightningkit, seeing a cat he didn't even know gaze at him with malicious eyes, grew afraid. He backed away with widened eyes and felt himself being lifted, where his air circulation was immediately cut off. He gasped and his paws waved in the air, as if trying to grab some and suck it in.
Appleblossom snickered, laughing at his futile attempts. She took one of the bent, ragged claws that she'd just scraped against the rock. She took one, single claw and tried bending it the right way again - knowing exactly what the results would be. That single claw went flying in parts that seemed invisible, and that claw was now just a mere stub, nothingness. Then, glancing up to see Willowstorm, she rolled her eyes. "Play along, idiot." She hissed, feeling irritated with the she-cat. Feeling something scrape against her, but no pain occuring, she growled and yelled out again. She tried not to sound like a dramatic she-cat as she spoke. "At least I'm a better leader than you! Here you are, Snowstar, trying to tell me you love me? I should kill you now!" He yowled this perfectly loudly.
Thunderfoot frowned, shaking his head as he licked her cheek. "I don't need to meet anyone else since I met you." He said this and there was an awkward silence between them, before he burst out laughing. "I'm sorry, that was just -" he started laughing again, his eyes glittering with utter jubilance as he tried to stop himself falling over.
Shiningfrost brightened as she heard the "My friend" part, and it made her glitter with bliss. She purred and kneaded her claws against the floor of her mind, as if shredding away all of the good memories and leaving the hateful, horrid ones. A huge mistake, which would lead to hell even when FireClan had evaporated. Smiling evilly, she nodded. "The Clans have grown weak. Even BoulderClan, who used to be of that old ShadowClan, have grown weak and refuse to attack. We can prove to them how foolish they are."
Snowstar hissed, trying to think of absolutely nothing. And, suddenly, for a very brief flash, she felt herself again. She had controlled her body for a mere second, but thinking of absolutely nothing. Though that was a very difficult task to accomplish, she'd done it and it had given her hope. "I am not weak or pathetic. You were a mere rogue that never grew to become the leader you wanted to be, but I fulfilled those dreams you couldn't accomplish. I will always be better than you!" [/blockquote]
