Name: Rookpaw Pelt: Rookpaw is a handsome tom, with medium lenghthed fur jet black and very shiney. His eyes are a wonderfully bright amber, but have a few dull flecks. His fur is longer than that of a short haired cat but still quite sleek, and is rather silky soft. (my actual cat looks like this and his fur feels amazingly soft in real life!) Rookpaw is a little smaller than most, and not as skilled as he could be. Age: 9 moons Eyes: Wonderfully bright amber Rank: Apprentice Gender: Tom Clan: Lakeclan Crush: Open Kits: None, durr! Siblings: Older sister Whitewind. Mentor: Silverfoot Personality: Rookpaw is really quite a friendly cat, he tries to be that way anyway. His nature is quite independant and strong willed, and his powerfull will leads him to great bravery and hope. He is really quite a faithful little cat, but not quite as trusting in another as you may be of him, trust can be a very hard thing for Rookpaw to give you, if he doesn't trust you take no offence its just his way. Rookpaw is really fiery and fiesty if provoked and really shouldn't be tampered with. But he is a fierce fighter loyal friend and ferociously loyal apprentice to his clan, and he is willing to do anything asked of him, wether it be battle all the way down to using bile to de-tick the elders. His heart is of gold, but to become this cats friend you must prove you are not going to lie to him or blab out any of his secrets he gives you in trust. But his shell though hard is easily broken. Kin(Still alive): Stormfeather(father). Fact: Whitewind is in Dreamclan and Stormfeather is in boulderclan, he doesn't remember his kits, and they don't remember him nor each other. History- When Rookpaw's mother Oaksong was still alive she had mated with the Boulderclan cat Stormfeather. She died while kitting Rookpaw, she had him a few moons after Whitewind, well more than a few moons. Whitewind had left her younger brother to fend for himself, believing it was his fault her mother had died. The sightless kit had blindly scrambled through the forest untill found by a Lakelan cat who had brought him to the clan and saved him from the deathly cold of the night, and the lurking predators. Now he is always quite hostile towards any cat with a voice in any way similar to his sisters, he would never forget how cruel she had been to him. And his father, well him Rookpaw had never met, and Stormfeather knew as much about Rookpaw as Rookpaw knew of him.

Since Fudgey told me to be nice, I only have one question. Can you give a backstory on how this separation came to be? I mean, no problem if you don't do it, but a backstory on how the father forgot them, how they were each separated, ect. would be nice. Just a few sentences.

I WANT SOMEBODY TO MAKE AN UGLY CAT!
-looks around- someone? pweese? just one, really ugly cat?
uglier than Rimelash? Doesn't have to be as grumpy, though. Just super-ugly, since handsome cats(handsome toms especially) are overrated? -puppy eyes-

I WILL! But I need to think up a story and such. He can be like Brightpaw. Sorta. xD Except he wouldn't have any Cloudy's near him, nor would he get all that crap about training him to fight with one eye and stuff. Yeah. He can be ugly, and not fight well, or hunt well. Yeah. And he can be emo about it too. And if someone talks to him he'll wallow in his own self-pity. So everyone can laugh at him. :3

That would be great Rain, and your right Fudgey, but my cats fur is seriously silky and he is based of my cat. But his eyes can be altered.(more dull).

DOESN'T ANYBODY BLOODY *CENSOR LAWLX* REALIZE THAT JUST BECAUSE THEY SUCK AT HUNTING THEY STILL HAVE A BLOODY PERFECT PERSONALITY. >_> So I can have a cat who everybody loves and he can look nice but to counter that his eyes are a little dull? He walks with a limp? He can only eat mice? He's still perfect. >_> Sure, if we were really playing by survival, dull eyes would be enough, but are we? Do cats in the Warriors series really face hardships in which they starve to death due to them being unable to catch anything? There is ALWAYS someone to save them, ALWAYS someone to make sure they don't die a horrible death. Graystripe in all respects should have been HATED for leaving his duties with Thunderclan to join his young that were the young of him and a RIVERCLAN cat. I'm all for love, go ahead whether you want to marry a dead person or marry your dog or marry another guy/gal, but in basis, cats WOULDN'T operate like that. But no, later they all bloody well accept him back with hardly any difficulty! Those who hate him realizes he's genuinely good blah blah blah! When Riverclan was starving, everyone should have(and would have) left them alone to die! Because that would give them more space, better hunting locations, more resources! It would give the remaining clans a better chance of survival. And that, they would want. Less enemies, less cats to steal their prey, less cats to go to war with! In all respects, they would leave them alone, to die! Don't give that crap about Graystripe and whatsits saving them. Graystripe is a complete and utter moron who deserves to be shot because he's practically a d**n follower to Fireface. Before that, when he was in love with Silverstream, I could practically tell he was going to go back running to Fireface who was going to act all righteous. (WTF DID I DO I MEAN I WAS JUST PROTECTING YOU! NO I DON'T NEED PROTECTING BETCH! WELL FINE NUB GO *CENSOR* YOUSELF IN THE CORNER!!11 FINE I WILL LAWLX!!! -censors self in corner-) Fireface is a whole different story. He's an idiot who hasn't fought in his bloody life. He's lived in a sheltered home under humans. For the love of god he can't even catch a d**n mouse! And then suddenly he's a d**n hero who can defeat a cat bigger than him, stronger than him, better skilled then him, and overall better!I don't give a crap that he(Longtail) was overconfident. He has perfect right to be. This is a cat who can't even catch a mouse, a cat who's claws probably never even saw blood. To give you a nice example, let's do this. You(say you were male and 12 years old, and were given a sword. You have had no past training with a sword, and this is the first time you even held a real sword. You in your current form. If you're fat, you're fat here, if you're unathletic you're unathletic here.) against a sixteen year old male, also with a sword. This male has been training with the sword since he was young. He's bigger, stronger, faster, better skilled. Now, who would win? You or the sixteen year old? The latter, of course. So, Firepaw would get owned/killed, and thus run away/stay dead. Riverclan wouldn't help the Thunderclan during the fire, they would let them burn in the inferno. Make merry while listening to their screams(Okay, maybe not that) but yes, they wouldn't help. They want Sunningrocks. Plus, who wouldn't want all that nice forest? (Of course, it would be burnt, but it would grow back in time) Plus who wouldn't want a vanquished enemy!? (Riverclan and Thunder are truly enemies, even the prologue of the first book opens with them fighting Riverclan, and the one that could've become Thunderclan leader if Bluey didn't abandon her kits(Which was also idiotic for such a 'loyal' cat) died due to a Riverclan patrol! So both of them would want the other to DIE. Warrior code Shmorrior code, Erin(YES I KNOW IT'S TWO d**n PEOPLE!) just invented it so people wouldn't ask questions like this. It's just some basic hierarchy rules stuffed into one place. But she can be commended for stuffing all the hierarchy sheet in there. Warriors would either be in the US or the UK. No Lions or Tigers there, if memory serves. Creative license Shmeative license. If you do something on a real place you need to know what's geographically possible and what's not. AND WHY IS THE FOREST PRACTICALLY BLOODY DESERTED!? JUST MICE VOLES AND OTHER STUFF ALONG WITH CATS!? WHAT THE HELL IS THAT. I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL IS IN THERE, BUT I'M PRETTY d**n SURE WILD BOARS SHOULD BE IN THERE. I KNOW THEY WERE HUNTED TO EXTINCTION IN MEDIEVAL TIMES, BUT THEY CAME BACK DUE TO PIGS IN PIG FARMS ESCAPING OR WHATEVER.
(Erm. Sorry for the outburst Fudgey. D: -waits for teh banstick- But I won't scream on Whitewind, since I screamed enough anyway. >_>)

XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
I shouldn't laugh, I really shouldn't, but...
I was about to mention something like that about Rookpaw being a bit perfect, except you beat me to it.
Frosty, the thing is about you, You're completely right. The Warrior books go completely against the nature of animals. But then again, so does Redwall. I don't see mice going around wearing habbits, and calling people My Son, do you?
The entire point, hidden carefully in the corners of these books, is a moral(NOOO! NOT THE MORAL! ACK! GASPH! I CAN'T BREATH! THE ROOM IS GROWING DIM! NOT A MORAAAAL!!!) that is something like a mix of, stand up to your fears, if you set your mind to it, you can do it, and behind every evil character is a just a bully.
And I only agree with the last one.
XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

I don't see mice going around wearing habbits, and calling people My Son, do you? -------- But Merri m'dear, Warriors is set in Second Earth. D: (I stole the term from Pendragon, sue me.) One does not go around twiddling with the recent past (1980's-2000's) and acting like wild cats suddenly have a personality change! Hell, I should make a series about Hyena's or something, where they let other things DIE because it's in their nature. It should be interesting. :3

Mmm. Somehow I think you'd be hard-put to find an editor who would accept such a story. Hyenas who elt everything die, then laugh wildly whenever anything does die? "heee hee heee! hey Ma! look! the cat's dead! HAR HAR HAR! Look! Now the house plants are all dead! BUAHAHA! HA HA HA HAAAAACK!"
True, you're right. Again.
