Fudgey laughed - rather rudely as the Eevee appeared. This would be a piece of cake. As well as being her second Pokemon, Kettle had this charming little habit of boosting her speed before every attack. This allowed her first strike at the enemy. But…another annoying rule of being the Battle Tent master meant that the opposition always got to attack first on the first turn. But, ‘QUICK ATTACK.’ Her lip curled ever so slightly as she planned her next move.
Kettle zoomed around the area, taking in the cool feeling of the wind in her wings. How she loved being out! Battling was fun too! Feeling claws scratch her armored body, Kettle politely waited until Squeal had finished clawing her, then took off again, body slightly stinging. But she had had worse than scratches. Kettle was much politer than other battling Pokemon, always playing by the rules. But her manners never got in the way of the ferocity of her attacks. As she heard the cry of ”Kettle - LEECH LIFE” she drove forward, shooting a sting at the base of her body into the Eevee and drawing life from her like the juice is drawn from a lemon. The stinging stopped and the huge HP bar flicked back to green and almost full health, whilst Squeals dropped down a couple of notches. Master was laughing far below her and she boosted up her speed, allowing it to be her turn again. The early bird gets the worm, she thought to herself, having heard Master once chant it as she beat a gym leader. ”Kettle - FURY SWIPES” came a bellow from below, and Kettle turned, shooting like a dart to claw Squeal. It was probably her most powerful move, but it did not harm the Eevee too badly. Kettle wasn’t one for huge, battle ending moves.

ooc - I change my mind, I'll post once more here, once more in starlight, once more here and then I'll go.
bic - Squeal and Sakyra were incredibly annoyed with Fudgey, laughing at them. Though Squeal had binds constraining her body, life zapping away from her at every moment, she listened to her master. "Squeal, take down!" Squeal used her last bit of energy and flat out rammed into Kettle, but the recall took out most of her energy. One last bit and about two HP transferred to Kettle, sending Squeal into a faint. As she was not allowed to enter the battlefield, Sakyra used a pokeball to call back her Eevee and then immediately let Squeal back out, settling her in her arms to rest.
"You're going to pay for that, Fudgey!" Sakyra called, pulling out her master ball. She'd only had two, and she'd used both of them... "Sapphire, go!" She called out and threw the pokeball into the air. As it opened their was a blinding light as a majestic, beautiful creature escaped it. Gracefully Sapphire landed on the ground, his tail waving in the air. A suicune...such a beautiful sight. [/center]

Fudgey stopped cackling as she saw the next Pokemon. He really was beautiful. She wanted to run forward and embrace the graceful Pokemon, and to cry ’where do you get him!’ but then she thought how unprofessional that would be and refrained. She was doing well…one and uh…a half of her Pokemon were down but this one looked good. Still…she had three and uh…a half left. It would take more than three Pokemon to take down HER! Sakyra would have to come back another day before they beat her and her Pokemon.
Kettle looked down at the shimmering figure below her. He was beautiful yes, but she was not interested in these things. She was more intent on boosting her speed. Energy bottling up inside her, she flew in loop the loops in the air, then flew down to ground level, waiting for Sapphire to attack. Waiting for an attack was hard, and Kettle trembled slightly but they were the Tent leaders, they must be polite.

Sapphire felt handsome and perfect, as if he could win anything. He was untouchable, he was perfect...he watched the Ninjask with interest, as he wasn't completely heartless and impolite. He always wondered what it would be like to be another pokemon... "Suicune, waterfall!" Sapphire wondered why his master was going for such a simple move, but he did not disobey. At level 80, why didn't she request hyper beam or hydro pump? But he gathered water from what seemed like thin air and a very large wave collapsed upon the scrawny Kettle, continuing until Suicune finally decided to cease.
Sakyra listed her remaining pokemon in her head. Arcanine, Kyogre and Lapras...there was no way she could lose! The battle field was now soaking wet due to Sapphire, which left her the advantage of having Lapras and Kyogre available in their favorite type of habitat. She smiled, petting her Eevee as she awaited her opponent's move.

Fudgey stood up, the word ”HEY!” forming on her lips, but Sakyra and her Pokemon had done nothing wrong. You were meant to hurt each other after all. Her mouth hung open as she watched as Kettle’s HP bar moved sickenely slowly from green…to orange…then to red…but did not stop. Kettle fell from the air just as Pride had done, a broken, mangled figure. She was only a little bug after all, they couldn’t survive waterfalls! Burning with anger, she lifted Kettle gently and placed her on the fluffy mat she had laid next to the figure of Pride, also curled upon a mat, but awake. There were two other empty mats placed next to the two. For two more Pokemon. But Fudgey had five. She smirked, having new heart from Pride’s recovery. The Swablu could not battle again, but at least she was okay, in fact, she was sipping cocoa at this minute. Kissing Kettle softly, Fudgey surveyed her remaining three Pokemon. She could use Talon…who would not stand out well against the water, Tiger was the same, his flame would be too easily quenched. It was time to use Water against water.
Launching into the air, the Azumarill ached her body, making gleeful noises. She was not intimidated by the Pokemon watching her, merely excited at the prospect of the upcoming battle. She wouldn’t loose. Loosing wasn’t something she was used too. She looked at her Master for a command, but there was none. Why not? Water sent a couple of bubbles in her Master’s direction, but they were ignored. Obviously they made the first move.

Sapphire listened to his master's next choice and immediately realized why she'd chosen his weakest attack of his four on the last move. This was a water pokemon, one that he couldn't fight without using hyper beam. Or... "Sapphire, ROAR!" Sakyra called out and the suicune did so, sending the Azumarill scurrying away with fright.
Sakyra noticed Squeal awakening and she pulled out a thermos in which held some odd beige balls covered in something brown. She found a long time ago that, oddly, her Eevee loved cinnamon. So, as Squeal saw this, she jumped into her master's arms and began to munch.

Her strength quailing as if a giant invisible hand had snatched it away - Water suddenly felt drained. She shouldn’t be here! She should be far away, back with Master, sipping cocoa like her two sisters Kettle and Pride. Shaking slightly, she heard the familiar voice scream up at her, ”Water - Rollout!” Still shaking slightly, Water conjured rocks from thin air and sent them screaming towards Sapphire.
Fudgey watched from behind her fingers as Sapphire’s HP dropped satisfactorily. But it was only on orange. Her and her group were wearing the strong Pokemon down…but not fast enough. At least now they were matched - water type against water type. And…Fudgey wasn’t sure about this but she had a strong suspicion that Sapphire was Sakyra’s best Pokemon. Well - that was useful, for Water was hers. She had hoped to save her for last…but obviously this would not be.

The odd thing about Sapphire was that, though he was strong, once his HP was in orange he had time for one or two more attacks, then it was over. "Sapphire, hyper beam!"
Sapphire felt weak from the attack, but still had a decent amount of strength. As he heard the order, he took in a great breath and roared, a great orange beam flying out at the Azumarill. After this move Sapphire lost half of his energy, causing him to faint.
"Sapphire, return!" Sakyra called and hugged the pokeball. "You did great for your first battle, rest well." She mauled over who would be her next pokemon. Well, her lapras hadn't fought in a while...the female pokemon's nickname was Raas. "Go, Raas!" And the lapras appeared on the soaking-wet field, ready to battle.

Feeling the huge beam lash into her, Water cried out again, but this time in fear. Recoiling, she tumbled along the ground, bumping her head on every second roll. Her HP bar dipped dangerously low until it was just a fraction above red. Like her sister Pride - she was survivor. She also happened to have the highest HP of the party.
Fudgey gnawed her lip, feeling a trickle of blood enter her mouth. She had a dilemma on her hands. Water was obviously defeated…just not yet. She could either keep her battling, only to have her knocked out straight away which meant loosing a valuable position…or she could withdraw her and send her out against later. The opposition seemed to be a Laprass…oh…just what she needed! More water! Deciding on the slightly crueler option, Fudgey yelled ”STAY PUT” to the little, exhausted looking Azumarill. Sapphire’s attack…or rather, intimidation had left the little blue rabbit like creature weak and unwilling to battle. But this was a tent - she had too! Fudgey didn’t bother to shout the next attack, Water knew it. Rollout was a five part move, each time the attack intensified. She was never going to get to part 5 of Rollout, a bone crushing flurry of rock, but they might make it to 2. The Azumarill contended with her wishes, falling into the already waiting Fudgey’s arms as she finished her move. Three down. Only two left. ”Talon….GO!” she cried, releasing her Aron into the arena.

Raas was excited for her first battle in a while, as she had been her master's third pokemon. They had a bond like no other, and she listened to her master's instructions perfectly. "Raas, water gun!" Aron was weak against water, Sakyra knew this very well. Raas blew a bunch of water into the little thing's face, leaving its HP to fall dangerously low. The Lapras cried in triumph, excited that she had almost won... Or already won, Sakyra couldn't tell.

With a grunt of surprise, Talon felt water enter his joints, weakening them and himself. This wasn’t fair! His Master didn’t usually put him up against water Pokemon. ”Talon - IRON TAIL” he heard her shriek, and made a happy sort of grunting noise. He loved this attack. Turning his body to iron in the way only Aron’s could, he swung his tail at the Laprass, feeling her shudder under the intensity of his blow. He made his grunty laugh and stepped back, awaiting more instructions, eager to battle.
Although the performance of her Aron was good…Fudgey couldn’t help but feel she was loosing. Loosing! It couldn’t be, she couldn’t loose! It was time to play a little less fair. Talons attack had pretty much halved the Laprass’s health, but the Aron itself was dangerously low. ”Catch!” she called, throwing him a Hyper Potion encased in a steel bottle. It landed next to him and bounced a little on the wet floor. Aron’s had no hands, hence the iron casing. Watching her Pokemon gulp down the life giving liquid gave her new hope too, as if it was not Talon, but her drinking the fluid. And now they waited for the next attack, Aron making his snuffly laugh, Fudgey shaking slightly…but smirking.

"ICE BEAM!" Sakyra called angrily, fists clenched. Yes, two moves in a row...well, when Fudgey began to play unfair, she'd begin to play. She clutched Squeal a little too hard and she yelped, glaring at her master angrily. Sakyra smiled and brushed her cheek, calming down the Eevee. She continued to glare at Fudgey, but then looked up at the screen. According to that, after Aron was gone...she only had one pokemon left. And Sakyra still had three.
Raas blew an ice beam at Talon and instantly the health drained, and the odds had been with them. Aron was frozen, so that even if he wasn't defeated, it would take two entire moves. One to heal him, one to unfrreze him.

And now panic began to fill Fudgey. She should have saved Pokemon like Pride and Kettle who withstood water attacks better until the end. But she was loosing. Loosing! The word rung hysterically inside her head, bouncing off the walls of her cranium and obscuring all other thoughts. Her very fist battle and she had lost. Well…not yet. Placing Aron onto the remaining mat as carefully as her shaking fingers allowed her too, she picked up the last Pokeball, slimy with sweat. Behind her the recovered Pride hopped off her mat, leaving it free. But Fudgey did not see this. ”Tiger…GO!” she called, her voice shaking and then cracking completely. ”Go on Tiger” she whispered to the bird as it escaped the confinements of the Pokeball. ”You have to do it!”

"Raas, return!" Sakyra called, deciding upon a new pokemon. After all, she was grateful with the ability to change. "Go, Marsh!" She called out her Swampert, another water pokemon. But this pokemon was also ground...so those attacks would have no effect on this pokemon, but Sakyra knew that. "Marsh, surf!" She called.
Unfortunately, Marsh had a rather large ego. As he saw his puny opponent, he wasn't afraid to over do it with the surf that his master had ordered. A large wave overcame the tiny pokemon that Fudgey had thrown out, and it seemed to be all over... Which left Marsh to gloat...again.
