Ivypaw had enough was she going to let this little scrap push her around. She scratched her hind legs alone Oakpaws stomach. Finally the onler apprentice had gotten off. Skillfully Ivypaw wove back and forth trying to confuse her opponent. Just as she had seen teh other warriors do she knocked Oakpaws legs from under her and she fell to the ground.I tod you my reputationShe hissed and calmly sat downThank you for the pratice.

.::Cheetahpaw::. Quickly growing bored of the conversation, Cheetahpaw padded away, once again looking at the fresh-kill pile. He knew he should be getting some more for the clan, but he was in a sour mood now and didn't feel like it. Yawning with uncare, he noticed Ivypaw by her lonesome, and Oakpaw too. Seeing the look she flashed him, Cheetahpaw stuck his tongue out at her. Wasn't his fault that he didn't wake her up. Walking up to Ivypaw stiffly, he mewed a welcome."Hey, Ivypaw." Ignoring how they were fighting, he laid back his ears, also itching to fight. But he refrained himself when he say Coldheart about to advance on them. "Oh, great."
.::Coldheart::. Getting fed up, the black-and-white tom grunted, getting up and walking pointedly away from Mintleaf and Coldbreath. Pausing to stretch, he noticed Ivypaw and Oakpaw playfighting, and narrowed his eyes. How unuseful could apprentices get these days?Growling with ill-will, the older cat stalked up to the three, glancing at the three apprentices in turn. "How annoying and useless can you apprentices get?" He jerked his head towards the fresh-kill pile. "How about you three go out and catch something, huh?" Glaring at them, he curled his tail. "Well, get going," he snapped at Cheetahpaw, the tom jumping back. "You expect the fresh-kill to just leap into your mouth?"

Okay that is it.Oakpaw thought.Digging her claws into the ground and then sheathing them again she pounced on Ivypaw digging her teeth into the scruff of the neck. She pulled the cat down ripping some of the hair out.She backed away and spit out the clump of hair she pulled out from the back.About to pounce again she noticed Coldheart came up and she mewed "Sorry Coldheart. We'll go hunting."She then turned to Ivypaw and hissed "Your lucky this time you useless ball of fur."She spat out the rest of the fur and padded off to catch some fresh kill. Ivypaw bounded after Oakpaw "Useless? I'm glad someone who can't even save her own fur thinks that!" Without another word she bounded out of the rock clearing and sped up to Cheetapaw *Why did she have to be rivals with Oakpaw? Why couldn't they set aside their differences* When Ivypaw made sure she was away fromt the other cats she stopped and tasted the air. She smelt mouse! Ivypaw followed the scuffling sound of the creature. With one pounce she swiftly landed on the mouse and killed it with one bite. She burried it to come back for it later.

.::Cheetahpaw::. Grumbling angrily at how bossy Coldheart was sounding and at the way the black-and-white warrior had startled him, he bounded off, following Ivypaw. At the sound of mouse, he stopped, but let his black-tipped tail droop to the ground as the she-cat got it first. Sniffing, he stalked on, ears pricked for any sign of prey. Stopping abruptly at the sight of a squirrel, he instinctively dropped down into a hunter's crouch, whiskers twitching. Steathily creeping up, he finally pounced forward, trapping the furry animal between his paws and finishing it off with a bite to the neck. Lifting his chin proudly, he picked it up, not intending to do more hunting. I refuse to catch more because Coldheart bossed me around to so so.

Ivypaw had caught another vole before she decided to turn tail and head back to camp.Stopping along the way to pick up the mouse she previously caught.Padding along the rocks she made it to the camp and dropped her kills into the pile. She stared at it, with a heavy heart a few mice, a couple of voles, and a juicy squirrel that Cheetahpaw caught were all the fresh-kill in the pile. Ivypaw would have to wait to eat her meal.

Silentpounce watched the apprentices bicker from her secret hiding place. Her blue eyes watched Ivypaw and Cheetahpaw as they left the clearing. After a few seconds, she crawled out from her cover. Now what to do? She sniffed the air, which had the scent of fresh-kill. It was all very enticing...

"My fur that was your own fur mouse-brain.Snapped Oakpaw before she left. After there argument Oakpaw jumped up some boulders. Her muscels tensed and she jumped to a higher one.She sniffed around and noticed a hawks's nest nearby.A grin came upon her face and she jumped higher. Two chicks were sitting there. She grabbed them in her mouth and fled before the mother came back which she did a few moments after Oakpaw hid herself.

Coldheart whipped around as Ivypaw and Cheetahpaw entered the camp, Ivypaw depositing two pieces of fresh-kill, whilst Cheetahpaw brought only one. Exasperated, Coldheart trotted up to them, displeased with mostly the cheetahlike apprentice. "That's all you caught? A squirrel? Your den mate here brought at least two." Glaring at Cheetahpaw, the stubborn apprentice glared back, looking up. "Well, your too bossy," he retorted, glowering at his black forepaws as the black-and-white cat growled sourly. "Whatever. Just make sure there's enough for the queens and elders." With that, he padded up to Silentpounce, giving her a mew of hello. "Old sack of bones," Cheetahpaw muttered, pawing the ground.

"Yes, Coldheart, you must." said Mintleaf, refusing to budge from her position. "You and Colbreath will guard the camp Oakpaw when she returns." Her eyes scanned the clearly, going cold and furious as things got out of hand. "Before you order any more apprentices out of camp, perhaps you should do what I asked you to." she snarled, turning on the two warriors. "Cheetahpaw! Ivypaw! Silentpounce!" she yowled, calling a small group of warriors at her side. "Jaypaw! Cursetwister!" she called, prefering the small group of select warriors. "You will represent Boulderclan at the gathering. Do not shame us." she stated flattly, bounding towards the entrance.

.::Coldheart::. Coldheart snapped his head towards Mintleaf, narrowing his eyes indignantly and bounding forward to the deputy, ears laid back against his head with disbelief. "What?" he yowled, kneading the ground. Knowing she wouldn't answer, he grumbled, swiping a patch of dirt angrily away. Stupid Mintleaf... Walking away from Silentpounce, he gloomily stationed himself by the entrance, shooting his deputy harsh looks. Stuck guarding the entrance... Pah!
.::Cheetahpaw::. As he just began to take a mouse from the pile, he immediately perked his ears, waving his tail jovially. He was actually going to a Gathering! Letting a mrrow of excitement escape his throat, he scrambled over to where Mintleaf was, hardly able to contain his growing excitement that threatened to burst out. Great! He would be able to get away from the grumpy Coldheart and go to the Gathering! Lifting his tail, he waited as patiently as he could.

Seeming satisfied with the group, she turn tail and led the clan towards the entrance. This was the right thing, right? Hawkstar or not, if she didn't go they'd be cowards and weak. If only she could know she was giving the right choice...

Just as Ivypaw grabbed a vole from the pile she heard her name being called. She let out a purr of amusement, she had just been asked to go to the gathering. She settled down and ate her vole. Though she could barely choke it down without thinking about her argument with Oakpaw. *Where is she?* Ivypaw spotted the she-cat hiding behind a couple of rocks. She cautiously walked up to Oakpaw not wanting to cause more trouble then she already had, "Oakpaw? I'm verry sorry for what happened early. I didn't think you'd be so ornery, truce?" *There. Now it was up to Oakpaw whether or not she chose to call a truce. Beside one day they might have to fight side by side in battle.*

As Mintleaf left with her gang of cats, Cheetahpaw enthusiastically following close behind and practically on her tail, Coldheart snorted from his position at the entrance. "Of course, I'm stuck here by myself and with Coldbreath, along with the other cats who didn't go. Just what I wanted." Making a noise in his throat, he watched outside the entrance warily, ears pricked for intruders.

As the hawk flew away she padded back with the two dead bodies hanging from her mouth. She then bumped into Ivypaw.Falling down she stood up and then nodded but knowing that, the truce won't last as long. Dropping the fresh kill she watched the group of cats leave for the gathering. She snorted and then layed down in the camp sighing.Maybe if I came earler then I would be going to the gathering too.She thought to herself and sighed.
