I copied this idea off Neopets - in fact, I basiclly copied everything off Neopets but ah well. This is the begginning of the Neopian Story Telling Contest. Well...as I never seem to get into the one on Neopets {>.<} then I decided to bring it here. Our is not a /contest/ as such - anyone can write the next part but at the end I'll decide the best one and uh...give them some karma points. XXXDD
Neopets "Excuse me?"
The Fountain Faerie looked up to see a weary Nimmo standing before her, draped in a worn, brown, dusty cloak.
"I'm sorry, but all the magic in the water has been used up," she said gently to the Neopet, feeling a bit sorry for him. He had obviously travelled far.
"Oh, I know," the Nimmo replied. "I do not seek the power of the Rainbow Fountain; I merely ask to be allowed some refreshing water, gentle faerie."
The Fountain Faerie glanced curiously at the Nimmo's hooded face, its expression unreadable in the shadows of the cloak. His demeanor was polite enough, she decided.
"You are welcome to take some water, stranger," she said, "but I feel that the Healing Springs could better meet your needs in this case."
The Nimmo smiled. "I am not a demanding Neopet; refreshment is simply all I desire," he said. Shrugging the cloak back a little, he stepped towards the fountain and splashed some water over his hands and face.
"So," the faerie began conversationally, "where does your journey lead you?..."

The nimmo stared up at her, for the first time meeting her eyes. She shivered slightly, and pulled her wispy cloak closer round her shoulders. They were rust red, and reflections of terrible things, of fire, and snow, and blood, danced in their crimson depths.
"Where does it lead me?" he repeated. "That is a long tale, a very long tale."
The faerie settled on her magic mushroom. "How long?" she queried. He gave no answer and she stood up abrubtly. "Very well. Follow me. I can offer you board and lodgings in return for your story."
The nimmo smiled a long smile, slitting his face in two. "Sounds fair."
"Eileen. Rosaond." The fountain-faerie shrilled. "Tell the others that the fountain pool is closed for today." Two junior faeries scurried to do her bidding as she rose, dress shifting and shimmering and guided the nimmo's footsteps towards the center of Faerie City.
"First. A name." She began. "I am Theodora."
"Revenge."
