(: BEST FRIEND IN TEXAS? WHO? ( not kidding...is confused ) #1.) How far away are you from the nearest beach? About an hour away from Galveston...though that beach sucks #2.) When you go out to a resturant to eat; what is the main choice? Erm...depends. We have mexican, american, japanese, italian, chinese... Normally, though, I'd say...burgers or something. #3.) What's the weather like? Currently, Houston has the best weather it will ever get. We're in the midst of autumn, currently. About a high off 77 degrees, and a low of 59. And clear, blue skies baby =D #4.) What time is it? Currently, right now. Before I post this, while I write this....it's 6:20 in the morning(: [/center]

#1.) How far away are you from the nearest beach? Do you mean, like, just a beach, or like an ocean/sea beach? We live about twenty minutes away from Madison, and there are lodas of lakes around Madison, but they're all yucky now, because of polution. There's also Lake Kegonsa, which is about ten minutes drive, but it's prettygunky, too. So the closest SWIMMABLE beach is Devil's Lake, and that's about an hour's drive. And, of course, I live abouta thousand miles from the ocean-beaches. #2.) When you go out to a resturant to eat; what is the main choice? Mahararaja, for sure. It's an awesome indian food resteraunt. I also really like vietnamese, and thai, but indian is definately my first choice. #3.) What's the weather like? { How hot, how cold. } it is currently 69˚ F, but getting colder every day. The usual for autumn is about 50-60˚, often dropping into the mid 30's and 40's. #4.) What time is it? Right now, as of this post, it is.... 12:31 PM exactly.

Okay, Fudgey. Here's ANOTHER question for you: #6. What the heck is a Malteser? I've heard of them, and seen them on shows, and I think they're some sort of chocolate candy, but I'm not sure!
But they look and sound really good! Much better than our Snicker bars, which taste awful, by the way. And look bad, too. I know. I've dissected a bunch of them.

OH MY GOD.
And I do not say that often.
You've never had a Maltezer? Seriously?
They're like little balls of chocolate coated crispy slightly honey-y stuff. They're pretty nice.
And in answer to your other question:
We go to school in the first week of September and break for half term mid-late October for a week. Autumn Term.
We have a 3 week winter holiday starting mid November and half a week's half term mid-late Feb. We break up late March. Spring term.
We then have another tree week spring break, a weeks half term late May after our in school exams and school ends mid July. Summer Term.
Some British people are polite. I don't swear (much) myself and try not to ever but I'm alone in my class. We have to hold doors open for teachers and adults. It's an unofficial school rule.
Also, and this really tells you something about the British, there was great contoversy about Snickers in England a while back. They used to be called Marathon bars but the makers wanted to change it to Snickers as it was called that everywhere else. The reason they were wary was because they reckoned we'd rhyme it with 'knickers' and get all offended!

No. Seriously. Never had a Maltezer. Never had a Mars Bar, either. That really shocked my Mum when she found out. Mmmm... they sound gooood! I wish I had one...
Wow. You get a lotta breaks.

Yummy.... Let's see... 1. How far away are you from the nearest beach? I live about 50 minutes away from San Clemente and Oceanside. 2. When you go out to a resturante to eat, what is the main choice? Mmm, for us, mostly american (as in burgers or something), mexican (partly because my mom's mexican ), or italian (BECAUSE I LOVE ITALIAN!!!!!) 3. What's the weather like? Right now it varies. Some days will be super hot and some will be over cast and cool. But it's been mostly cool and overcast lately. 4. What time is it? Right now, it is 4:16 p.m.

!.! Stormy has never eaten my favourite chocolate!!!
Bah, I’m allergic to Snickers.
Tell me a chocolate that I wouldn’t have had here in England.
And yes; we do have a lot of breaks …but that’s ‘cos it’s a Private school.

Hmm... I dunno what chocolate you WOULDN'T have in England, but here are some of the ones we have here:
Milky Way, Twix, 3 Musketeers, M&M's, Hershy Kisses/Hugs, Kit-Kats(I think that's what it's called... it might just be calle Kats.. you people who eat chocolate, could you tell forgetful stormy? It has a bright orange wraper, and it's like a thin wafer covered in chocolate. What's the name? I know it's cat-something, but spelled with a K), Hershy bars, and, of course, the cheap Holiday chocolate, which is basically just little pieces of really cheap shaped milk chocolate wrapped up in coloured tin foil. Annnd.. that's all I can think of at the moment.

Lol you were right Stormy, it is Kit-Kat. I LOVE Kit-kats. ...I can't think of any more either... unless you would count Almond Joys, Mounds, or Reese's Peanut Butter cups as chocolate...

Oooh.... yeah. I found out tonight.
I was trick-or-treating with fifteen-year-old Bob.(Any Mcfly fans here? if you are, you should know Bob pretty well. He's well known and loathed by Mcfly fans and even by the band itself.) I got a Kit-Kat for the first time tonight, dropped it into my bag, walked away from the house, then dove into my bag, checked the name, and started dancing around because I had gotten it right, while Bob looked on in great amusement.
Ohh... yeah. I forgot about Mounds and Almond Joy. They give away free Mounds bars at Mounds pet store. They're really just dog treats covered in chocolate, y'know.. that's how they can afford to give them away from free...
There's also Malt balls, and these other weird round chocolates that come in a long package and are really good, and always remind me of giant multi-coloured peas for some reason...
Oh, yes, Carri. I LOVE Kit-Kats. They are awesome. I just had one right now! ^^
