.:Earthstar:. Mistaking Shiningfrosts rush of emotion for a childish want to get noticed - he scoffed, looking scornfully at his medicine cat. "Sorry" he said in a falsely apologetic voice he scoffed again and turned. "Is that all" he snapped suddenly, wheeling around on his ankles. She had interrupted his Snowstar filled thoughts...and she had not yet explained herself for her coarse words about she and him. "EXPLAIN YOURSELF" he bellowed, almost as loudly as he had called for Hyperspirit before.
ooc-- Ah...it's so short!

Shiningfrost spoke also very loudly, but not loud enough for passing cats to hear. She wasn't that coldhearted, honestly. "YOU EXPLAIN YOURSELF! What happens if I go off and tell the Clan that their little old Earthstar fell for DreamClan's little old Snowstar? I wouldn't make me even angrier than I am at you, just what if the Clan found out...and wait until I tell Scarletvixen." [/blockquote][/blockquote]

"Why thank-you Midnightfire," purred Barkfoot, moving to allow the she-cat a plainer line of vision to them. She blocked out Earthstar's roars, cursing him silently for disturbing her precious kits, who lookked up, startled, at the sound. She quickly brushed them all with her tail, reassuring them that she was there. As she did so howeverm and as she smiled graciously at Midnightfire, she wondered where Hyperspirit had gone. Out on some sort of patrol thing with young Lilacbalm she knew, but that had been almost a sun ago. She shrugged. It wasn't like either to slack off.

Not at all hindered by the abrupt touching noses from his new apprentice, Walnutpaw, he only gave a throaty purr, nudging Walnutpaw heartily. "Impetuous much?" he asked with a chuckle, noticing his look at his mate, Tigerlily. "No need to worry, my young apprentice, I'll find time for the both of you," he meowed happily, catching eyes with Tigerlily. She seemed to understand immediately, nodding with glowing pride. It was obvious that she was glad he had gotten an apprentice. About to tell Walnutpaw when they would start training, he stopped before he could meow, turning to Earthstar as the leader bellowed three cats names, which included his. "Oh, snap," he murmered, turning to Walnutpaw. "Well, I gues I'm off to help find Hyperspirit. Keep out of trouble, will you?" Putting his tail-tip to the apprentice's shoulder in a short farewell, he quickly bounded out, ready to find the lost deputy. Where could the tom have gotten to?

.:Nightfire:. Nightfire smiled and then padded back to Banditpaw."Go get some rest for tonight and tommorow I'll show you around LakeClan's territory and if your not tired out then we might do some fighting technices okay?"She mewed to her new apprentice hoping to get the answer 'Yes.'from Banditpaw then 'But I'm not tired yet!'Without hesitation she flicked her tail toward the apprentices den and then left.

Banditpaw followed orders without a sound. He trotted over to the apprentice den and took a peek in. It was nothing like the nursery but he would get used to it. He walked in and ploped himself in a tight corner. He let the sounds of the camp sooth him into deep sleep.

.:Earthstar:. "What..." the leader spluttered, taking a huge step back as if Shiningfrost was frothing something poisonous and nasty from her open jaws. Him...love Snowstar? Come to think of it...it was not a bad idea. He growled at himself and growled even louder at Shiningfrost. "Shiningfrost" he said, placing his words very carefully, his eyes glaring at her but his voice calm and level. "I don't know what you mean but I wish... I wish you to get your nose out of other peoples business and concentrate more on your duties as medicine cat." He raised his voice very loudly at this last part, Shiningfrost might not be that screwed up - but Earthstar was.
.:Walnutpaw:. Walnutpaw smiled, in the outside even larger than the outside. His mentor had to go...he raised a paw, opening his mouth to ask 'can I come with you' but he closed it even before Eagle talon left the camp. There was no point...Earthstar had said 'Eagletalon' not 'Eagletalon and his apprentice.' He didn't want to press his luck though. Not really feeling in the mood for talking to Tigerlily - although she seemed very nice, and was mainly the reason for the happy bubble in his chest. He padded into the apprentice den, marveling at everything in it. The stone and earth roof...the downy bedding and....Banditpaw! His new den mate! "Hiya" he mewed, his voice high with happiness.
ooc-- Is it Cornflowers of Stripepaws turn to write?

Shiningfrost glared at him, her eyes filled with undisguisable rage and sadness. Oh, how she wished Cornflower didn't have an apprentice. She wanted someone's shoulder to run to, to blurt out everything about how she loved Earthstar, but he was still lying, still despising...Shiningfrost walked up to him and dared to do what no cat will ever do. "You know what? Next time a dog is getting ready to tear you to shreds, I won't let it rend me instead!" Then, she slapped her unsheathed claws along his face. Three very deep gashes were along his cheek now, and they were bleeding. But before Earthstar could blink away any pain, Shiningfrost had disappeared into her den.

ooc-- Ouch!!! XXDD When Earthy comes back you can make Spellcaster come back with the news. Until then you might as well roleplay the cats finding Hyperspirit.
bic-- .:Earthstar:. Earthstar couldn't speak for about five seconds. He just stood there - mouth open, feeling the three long gashes burn into his skin, the ripped flesh protesting painfully as the cool air whipped into it. But the tabby leader did not move. He couldn't - he had seen Shiningfrosts face, and it hurt him. It penetrated layers of hardened and tough layers of hate, cruelty and scorn to the light, compassionate beating heart beneath. He had hurt her. And not just in the way that she had thrown herself in his path, traveling almost to the border of Starclan in the attempt. He had hurt her deeper than the dogs ragged teeth and claws had....and this hurt him. He couldn't explain his feelings for Shiningfrost, she was so emotional, sometimes too emotional but she was caring, kind and very beautiful. But then his mind strayed to Snowstar and her sleek white pelt and laid back, humorous attitude. He always felt better when he was around Snowstar...but he was more used to Shiningfrost and was at a little more ease with her. But then he thought of Heatherpaw. And he felt weak. What should he do? He had no medicine cat to confide in, his deputy was off somewhere only Starclan knew and all his warriors hated him and returned the feeling in earnest. He had to get out of this camp! He stormed quickly from Lakeclan camp, holding his head awkwardly so that none of the milling warriors could see the gash on his cranium which was now steadily oozing blood into his matted pelt. His head was down, staring at his brown paws - not looking where he was going. Was it only coincidence that they took him to Dreamclan?

Snowstar didn't see Earthstar coming, and lucky she hadn't. For Snowstar would've had time to prepare herself for his visiting, and that would've ruined everything. When Earthstar arrived, Snowstar was rolling in the grass merrily. When she stood, her fur was messed up to the most perfect ability possible. It was beautiful, the sun shining on her pelt. But all her thoughts were jumbled with Earthstar, and...and with a sigh, she nodded. She had to tell him, she loved him. She knew it now, it was time...yes, yes! Yes, she would do it. And suddenly she had a whole new confidence.

.:Earthstar:. A faint scent of summer graze, sugar and fresh wood-sap reached Earthstars nose and he looked up quickly - his heart rising and sinking very fast at the same time. He couldn't talk to Snowstar - not now! He wheeled around, keeping his heavy head still down, pretending he hadn't seen her. It was hard and every fibre of his heart called out to him to go back, to run and leap until he was by Snowstar - for ever and ever and ever. With a gasp he realized that he had a serious problem on his hands. He loved her. No...he couldn't! He couldn't! It couldn't work - it shouldn't work! At the same time he felt a blissful happiness seep over him and the pale, slim figure of Shiningfrost and the small, slight body of Heatherpaw began padding quickly from his mind...as if a sudden, permanent distraction had taken their attention away. With Snowstar he felt so happy - as if his troubles were nothing and would never be anything! He turned. "Hello" he purred, a tiny note of wariness that his new blissful care freeness not quite obscuring all traces of uncertainty and doubt.

Snowstar smiled, looking at him. Her heart thumped, and she felt every happy memory she'd ever felt running through her mind. The memory of becoming leader, becoming deputy, and...oh, all of those former best friends that died for her. Without whom she'd never have lived, she'd have already lost any nine lives she'd been given. "H-hullo, Earthstar. I've been wanting to talk to you, I...er, wanted to tell you something." She wondered why she was doing this, why...but she loved him, she had to admit it. She had to, there was no other option.

Banditpaw lifted his head. He saw Walnutpaw at the entrance of the apprentice. "You want to sleep next to me?" he mewed in a friendly tone. He scooted over and made some room for his denmate.

.:Nightfire:. Seeing the apprentice leave without a word made Nightfire smile. She let out a sigh and decided to hit the den as well.A promise is a promise.I have to keep it.'She thought to herself and padded toward her place in the warriors den. She sat down first and then layed down staring out into the camp. She then saw Shiningfrost leave Earthstar alone.I wonder what happened...She thought but never completed her thought for she had fallen alseep.

.::Eagletalon::. The eaglelike warrior practically looked everywhere in Lakeclan territory, had even thought of crossing another clan's territory to look for Hyperspirit; he was the kind of warrior to do that. Recklessness and battle-lust was all he was capable of really thinking about. Luckily for him and his own clan, he refrained himself from doing so, but merely just, well, give up. A characteristic that Eagletalon didn't acknowledge or have. But he had to admit, trying to find Hyperspirit was a lost cause, and so far, all he could think about was that maybe he was...dead. Not all that keen to tell this news to Earthstar, who would most definitely try to bite off his head for announcing this, trudged back to camp with low spirits, angry at himself for not being able to find the deputy. When he entered, he could immediately tell that his mate had went inside the nursery, and that Walnutkit had gone to the apprentices' den. Well, hopefully. Sighing mornfully, the brown and white warrior looked around for his leader. Where did he go? Frowning, he sat down near the medicine cat's den, sure that his leader might be in there. Waiting silently and patiently, he scuffed his paw against the ground in earnest. Oh, hurry up, Earthstar, so I can get this over with.
