"Owie!" Rubbing his stricken head with a paw, Starstar sighed, unhappy that he was being dragged back to their camp. He was just about to start a friendly conversation with whoever-it-was. It was going to be a good one, too; he could feel it. Sitting down grudgingly, he stared at the vole his sister offered and, rising his gaze to meet hers, his pale green eyes blinked rapidly. "Aw. Starstar doesn't really want to eat. Vole gives Starstar cramps if he eats too much of it. But, if Candy wants Starstar to eat his vole so that she can get water, Starstar will." Lowering his muzzle to the fresh-kill, he sniffed it bleakly, shrugging once before taking a quick bite out of the vole. Yawning, he finished it off in two more gulps. Mrrowing in contentment, his swiped his tongue over his lips, smiling. "Starstar enjoyed the vole, even though there is a good chance that he'll get cramps."
"Don't give me lip. Just do it." Rolling his ice blue eyes skywards, he scowled, striding up to his apprentice with a stern glitter to his cold eyes. "Oakpaw, this isn't the time to sit around and mutter under your breath. Get moving and get hunting. Remember, I'll be analyzing every move you take, and every action you decide to do. So. Don't do anything that you'll regret, and attempt to do well in this assessment with your best efforts in mind." Narrowing his gaze at Oakpaw briefly, he circled her once, flicking his ears to say that he meant it, and waited for her to get her rear in gear.

ooc-Ahem you forgot Crimsonaura!xD
Bic- "Hey I didn't get a chance to rest yet you dim witted fool and don't tell me what I can't mutter under my breath because you wouldn't care anyways because you have NO HEART for kin!"She mostly yowled at him and then stalked away toward the assessment not really caring if she failed or not. Candy glared at him and then mewed "You won't get cramps Starstar."She then finished off her own and mewed "Candy says you stay here while Candy gets some water for Starstar and herself.Okay?"She eyed him suspiciously and then left toward the lake nearby.

Mintstar smirked as the blow was sent, too late to be returned. Flattening herself to the ground, she pushed up against the opposite shoulderblade of the pawstrike, throwing off balance. Cheetahpaw was a difficult apprentice. So skeptical. And yet he can't keep his balance on a rock.
Not bothering to help him, Mintstar waited until he came back up.
"Never give up ground when fighting another clan. A single warrior is one thing; but on larger fights backing away only gives the cat another chance to land a blow on you. The idea here is to force the other cat backwards. If this were a cliff and you had just backed away, you would be dead with no where to go. Always keep options!" growled Mintstar, tail lashing. As though to back up her words, she did not give Cheetahpaw another chance to attack but rather bounded foreward two steps before jumping ever so slightly to push the apprentice off the rock. Again, she aimed for one side of the apprentice's body.

ooc: Hmmm... well actually I was planning on Laurelpaw acting disinterested so that he would go after her- but this plot sounds much better. However she'll still be kinda mean to him. However- if you are suggesting Bluepaw gets Cheetahpaw, then you guessed wrong! *dramatically* He's mine! Err- Laurelpaw's! (joking- well, mostly xP) Although that isn't what you guessed... is it? (However it isn't definite that it will even work out with Laurel+Cheetah so yeah...) But hey- would it be better for Laurelpaw to exceed Bluepaw in looks, or to come short of her? bic: Laurelpaw snapped out of her dream like state with the sound of her sisters voice. "Hey," she purred, happy to see her sister, then nodded enthusiastically. "Sure, I'd love to go hunting." she replied, flexing her claws, green orbs sparling with that certain spunky, mischievous light they so often wore. She selected a small vole for herself and plopped down next to Bluepaw. "Sooo... talk to anybody lately? Or I mean- hear anything interesting?" She knew right well how Cheetahpaw went after Bluepaw and wanted to know the latest- which was strange, because how could whatever she was about to hear be good news? None the less, she wanted to know. With a flash of temper and a slight flick of her tail she thought "He probably likes her just because she doesn't like him. Besides- she's prettier than I am." her brow furrowed as she scowled down at her meal and took a bite out of it that was rougher than before. However she didn't wear the expression for long, because she didn't want her sister to see. She cast a quick, sidelong glance at Bluepaw. Could her own sister like him?

ooc// We can let Cheetahpaw decide. I really don't care if Bluepaw likes him or not. Lol. Like I mentioned in her profile, she isn't too interested in toms because she's young and naive. That could change, but we'll see..
Bluepaw shrugged. "Nothing out of the ordinary. Oakpaw's misbehavior and stubborness, Mintstar's been a bit grouchy as of lately, and Cheetahpaw trying to impress all the she-cat's around like he's a big stud." She snorted, then shrugged before starting her meal. "Toms, what can you do?" Once she was finished, she got up and stretched her long limbs. "Ready?" she mewed, gazing at the exit to camp.

Tigerheart's ears twitched as she head what Jaypaw said but wish Jaypaw could have put some respect into he tone, but she understood that he was in pain " It seems that it might be broken, but not badly. It will heal up nicely if you don't try to do any running on rough surfaces, or I advise to not try to run at all. You will be able to continue your training and so fourth in about less than a half of a moon (that is less than 2 weeks right?) Quickly padding into her den, she got the herbs that seem fit for the paw that Tigerheart just examined. The herbs the young medicine cat feline got was: Ragwort, juniper berries, Poppy seeds, and a little bit of Daisy that she had. Taking all those herbs over to Jaypaw, she crushed the Juniper Berries and mixed it with the ragwort. Then her deep gold eyes looked over to Jaypaw "Eat the poppy seeds and the Daisy. The daisy will help the joint stop aching and you know what the Poppy seeds do, they treat pain. Don't deaden pain completely though." then she looked to the poultice of herbs that she made "Eat that to, it helps with broken limbs" with that said Tigerheart sat there "You all need to be a little more careful we need good strong Apprentices like yourself for the clan. We don't need them getting seriously hurt." flicking her tail towards the injured paw. She was a little snappy with those commands to eat the herbs but some cats need commands that will go through their thick heads. Looking off to the distance she still felt sympathy for all the cats that came into her den, she once remembered when she was hirt that her mentore would help her with kind heartedness.
(I know its cut off I need to go to school D:)

"Half a moon!" moaned Jaypaw. He turned huffily away from her and muttered his next words to the den wall. "Besides, it isn't like I have any training to do." Wolfing down the herbs he completely ignored Tigerheart's explaination. He'd eat the herbs if they made him better but he didn't have to know how. "Anyway!" he said again, his protests coming with monotonous persistance. "Warrior's aren't careful."

|ooc| Oh contrare, Candy. I didn't forget Crimsonaura. I chose not to reply with her because I felt that there was nothing to say for her, other than that symbol of Zyphfang's disappearing in an illusion. -- shrug- And about Cheetahpaw. He's, like, got three she-cats on him. Oo; Ivypaw, Oakpaw (maybe) and Laurelpaw, now. So. Dunno. But he will chase after Bluepaw. xD
|bic| What. Did she just say that to his face? Called him a dim-witted fool? No heart? Fuming in ever increasing temper, he growled, bounding after Oakpaw before he stepped in front of her, blocking her way. Body rigid and stiff as a board, he glared malevolently at Oakpaw with a hiss. "Have you no respect for warriors of your clan? For your own mentor?" He spat the word in disgust, and his tail wrung and flicked about in anger. "Well, you want to know something? The assessment is canceled. It can be done another time--possibly in a few moons. I'll also ask Mintstar to delay your warrior ceremony, and you can forget about becoming one! Heck, now you have all the time in the world to rest!" With nostrils flaring, Coldheart turned away from the belligerent apprentice that he had been so unfortunate to have, and whisked away to the border, the fur on his shoulders bristling. He couldn't stand this anymore. If she wanted to become a warrior, she had to act like one, and furthermore, apologize to him in the sorriest way possible! Inhaling and exhaling in a rush, he paused, postponing his rage for the moment to sniff the air experimentally. Loners reached his scent glands; he didn't care, but if they stepped onto BoulderClan territory, they had him to deal with. Thinking that was all, he paced around and started to head back to camp in begrudgement before another scent hit him squarely and, reflexively, his claws unsheathed and his pupils dilated in a piqued manner. "Coldbreath!"
"Starstar is sure he'll get cramps..." the maddened tom muttered, eyeing Candy askance with his pale eyes as she left to fetch them some water. Staying seated where he was for a few more minutes, he eventually got to his paws, jaws widening in a yawn before he curtly glanced around him. Usually, he didn't listen to what his sister said, even thought what she told him was meant for the best. Stretching shortly, he bounded off toward BoulderClan territory once more, further away from both Coldbreath and Coldheart. Sniffing the air to make sure nothing was out there--he remembered that much in his insanity-- Starstar padded through the territory, gazing around him in awe, as if he hadn't seen such a place. "Fascinating!" Not watching where he was going or tasting the air to make sure it was safe, he bumped into the irritable Oakpaw, jumping back in startlement to look at the apprentice unevenly. "Oh, excuse Starstar, Ms. Stump-of-Fur. Starstar didn't mean to collide with you."
"Yeah yeah, Mintstar. I get the point. I would be dead by now if I did that same mistake on the edge of a cliff," Cheetahpaw drawled, rolling his eyes. Stumbling back onto his four paws, he shook each of them numbly, grumbling incoherently under his breath in impatience. That certainly wouldn't happen again. Ruffling his fur, he placed himself atop the rock, not really expecting his mentor to push him off the rock. Hissing, he pounced to the other side of the smooth surface before he could slip, glancing over his shoulder to glare pompously at the leader. "No you don't!" Holding his tail up, he leaped forward, ramming against Mintstar's side to push her off the rock and on to the ground, quite like he had, though not by incident. Remembing not to bounce back, he struck one of her hindlegs with a forepaw to further unbalance her instead.

Oakpaw turned around but then stalked away toward the forest."Fine if he wants it that way I don't care anymore.I'd rather find my kin then be a warrior."As she walked she felt something bump into her and looked at Starstar and heard him call her a stump.Wanting to slash his fur off his face she laughed and then mewed "Funny but I'm not a stump of fur I'm an apprentice never to become a warrior because of an idiotic mentor. Its okay but if I were you I wouldn't go there."She flicked her tail towards camp."They will K-I-L-L you."She mewed to him slowly and then left with a run away from the weird cat.
ooc-Gee Starstar now Oakpaw has to run away.

ooc: *shrugs* Ok, we'll see what happens then lolzbic: Laurelpaw couldn't help letting out a small sigh of relief. The merely grunted in reply and said "Yeah." as she finished her vole. The chocolate apprentice stood up next to her sister, not quite reaching the same height due to her more compact build. "Am I?" she asked mischievously, standing for a moment with a smile on her face. Then, unsheathing her claws and digging them into the sandy ground she tore off towards the camp entrance, calling over her shoulder laughingly "You'll be eating my dust!" She burst from the entrance of camp and tore along the rocky slope that was Bolderclan territory. The hard ground felt cool against her pads as she raced along. The cool, mountainous air blew through her fur like a comb. Suddenly a smirk crossed her face and her green eyes glinted. She made a sudden swerve and hid behind a boulder, waiting for her unsuspecting sister to happen along the path. The flicked her tail in silent mirth. Luckily the wind was blowing just the right way- so that Bluepaw would have a hard time telling where she'd gone... she hoped.

Tigerheart twitched her tail in annoyance at the snapped back Jaypaw. "Well some are not careful, but they have common sense and pay attention to their surroundings" she said back. The sun was slightly fading behind the trees, Tigerheart's eyes became a darker shade of gold. The young feline twitched her ears at the sounds of the forest/mountain fading. Yet the clan was awake as ever. Her gold orbs gazed up at the sky watching the leaves bustle with the slight breeze that was blowing then trailed back to Jaypaw waiting for the stubborn apprentice to say something ignorant back.

Bluepaw shook her head. "When will she ever learn?" she chuckled to herself. Following a few moments behind Laurelpaw, it was easy to keep track of where she was going. Her legs extended to quicken her pace; she could have caught up easily if she wanted. 'Where is she going..' Bluepaw thought silently. Seeing Laurelpaw suddenly swerve to the side, Bluepaw snickered. 'She thinks she can fool me that easily?' Moving away from the path they were on, Bluepaw swiftly caught scent of a rabbit. Flushing it out back onto the path, she led it so that it would pass the rocks that Laurelpaw was hiding behind, before running around the rock and up a nearby tree. Once her sister turned the corner, thinking she was chasing the rabbit, she'd jump down and scare her.
ooc// Sorry if that didn't make any sense. It did to me and I thought it'd be funny. xD

|ooc| Excuse~~ me, then. >>
|bic| "Oh. I see. So. You're not a stump of fur then? Terribly sorry for the misunderstanding!" Starstar yowled after Oakpaw as the apprentice streaked away, leaving Starstar to twitch his tail and curl it around his paws absently. Most of what the she-cat had said didn't register in the loner's crazed mind, and he really didn't grasp the thought that the other cats who lived in this piece of territory would kill him or mortally wound him if they found him laying pawsteps on their territory which they firmly took a hold on. Shrugging after a minute had passed, Starstar held his gaze on to the depths of the BoulderClan territory, saneness somehow filtering through the insanity and telling him to go back. So, with a sigh, the half-tailed cat turned, padding back to where he had come from while his pale green gaze flickered about, his mouth half-open in wonder. He still thought this place was quite extraordinary.

Oakpaw heard his words but just kept running.Stupid Coldheart and his stupid ways the stupid cat.She thought to herself as she stopped at the edge of the lake. She looked toward Starlight lake but didn't dare to go in that direction.Sighing she sat down beside the edge of the lake and watched as a silver she-cat tried to get water.Maybe she has kits? She thought to herself and padded over to Candy and mewed "Do you need any help with that?I could help you." Candy stared at the brown small cat and mewed "I think I can..."She then stopped and noticed that she could hardly get low enough to get some water for herself and her brother Starstar and then mewed "Very well you may help me but don't think about getting anything in return because you aren't going to get anything." Oakpaw just rolled her eyes and then she stopped and thought for a moment. This must be how Coldheart feels about me well then the rotten stinker can fry in FireClan. She nodded to Candy and mewed "Well I was only trying to help sheshh."She grabbed the moss and then padded down slowly. As she reached a nice spot she dipped it in the water and then brought it back up and gave it to Candy. The silver cat Candy nodded and mewed "Thank you."And then grabbed it and padded back toward camp.As she got there she noticed Starstar wasn't around and dropped the moss and hissed "Uhh Starstar why must you torture me!WHY CAN'T YOU LISTEN FOR ONCE!"Scrambling to her paws she dashed out of their little camp and towards Starstar's scent. The world is derived of a multitude of organisms big and small. All of which prey one another for substance and though at times we deem these events to be cruel they are necessary in order to proceed with the existence that we know nothing about.
We may gaze upon the faces and stare into the cool depths of eyes of those we know and love but are we truly seeing what we believe? Has not anyone pondered even vaguely if we perceive everything from an angle not anticipated by those that created us? Many choose to see the world in effervescent shades of white.
Others choose to convey the world as hues and tints of black. But is our spectrum that incompetent that we cannot mingle these two pigments to create another? Evidently so because not many can decide if such a thing as good or evil is preexisting or otherwise.
“Revolting brainless beasts.” The abhorrence in the accent alone was perturbing and the moment the sunlight shimmered through the foliage the feline that had spoken with such malice was revealed, not that she’d attempted to conceal herself. The insidious glow of the cats almond fashioned eyes were something that invoked ambiguity as well as attraction in their dissuading hue. The vivacious coloration beginning with an eminent orange threaded like lace through a yellow finer than any gold those Two-leg mongrels could manufacture. But there was no compassion etched in them as she watched the world turn without any contemplation for those left behind.
They said she was a monster, a murderous cat that slaughtered because she could and it gave her pleasure. She chuckled, the throaty sound reverberating through the atmosphere with a dark portentousness that was usually reticent for the darkest nights. Had every soul been a canvas they would see her as black, the darkest hue imaginable would be their perspective of her. But she saw them no differently. They were as insatiable as she was, always yearning for something they would never attain and most would do anything when presented with their darkest wish.
Her idiom deterred from that vicious sneer to an apathetic glower. They’d filled her with this and now they wouldn’t even come near her because of the rumors that depicted her as a murderer. Her other clan had bestowed upon her three apprentices, each had met their demise in his presence and each time they’d speculated conspiracy.
Her lip curled as she silently reminisced and the white-hot animosity that boiled just beneath the surface became a torrent and the flare of the sentiment embodied her eyes. Crimson sank her pupils like an island under its wave of ardency and she spat angrily at the memory of her exile.
She was black and bitter with it. The she-cat could be described as devilishly sensual for her coat was a deviated with strands of auburn fur that were entwined with diminutive strands of ebony. Transparent whiskers twitched with the scent of those that shunned her and it was fresh.
A clan was here. Her lips were the diluted amber that her chest fur had adorned and a sequence of stripes crawled up her forepaws and decorated her hackles with their slashes of mordant ebony. This rogue, alleged slayer of apprentices was branded officially and foremost as Shadowstep. Her name had been slandered and she’d been a rogue for longer then she would’ve preferred. But a rogue couldn’t have preferences because those were a luxury she couldn’t afford.
