Yesss....
The epilloge was soooooo lame, though!
I was soooo happy Snape was good, I came bursting out of my room and was very close to dancing around yelling "SNAPE WAS GOOD! YES YES YES! SNAPE WAS GOOD! HUZZAH! SNAAAPEY WAS GOOOOD!" XD
I was very satisfied with the ending.
Except... it never really said what happened to Umbridge. I know she was mentioned when they broke into the Ministry, but after that, she never cropped up again. And I'd have kind of liked to know who became Minister of Magic, and who was headmaster/headmistress of Hogwarts. McGonnagle, I'd assume?

I read an article where JK said that she liked her ending and leaving some parts in the dark, because then people could just be left to wonder for themselves. However - she did say Neville was the Professor of Herbology at Hogwarts but there was a new Headmaster/mistress and a new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. {McGonnagle /was/ old!} Harry and Ron revolutionized the ministry and all that... A little cheezy. XP I thought the end chapter 'Nineteen Years Later' was good! XXDD Shows what sort of a person I am.

I really disliked the Ninteen Years Later chapter.
The reason why she put it in was because soooo many people were wanting her to write books about when Harry was grown up(Which I think is a terrible, horrible, awful suckt idea, despite the commoner's belief)
It didn't give you quite enough. The only other thing that I wanted to know was what the hell happened to Luna??!! I LOVE Luna! She is one of the best characters in the books! I completely love her, even if her Dad WAS a double-crossing two-faced -censored-. But it didn't say what happened to Luna! -sob-
AND IF YOU SO MUCH AS DARE TO SAY SHE MARRIED NEVILLE.... I'LL NEVER SPEAK TO YOU AGAIN! -growl- Not only did J.K. Rowling say herself that a relationship stronger than good friends could ever happen between Luna and Neville, I just plain don't like the idea. They aren't meant for each other, they're too different. SO DON'T YOU DARE SAY OTHERWISE! -louder growl-

I know. On all the roleplay boards people are playing Luna and Neville's children. J.K wrote this in an interview:
It’s possible Luna has also found love with another member of the D.A.
When she was first asked about the possibility of Luna hooking up with Neville Longbottom several years ago, Rowling’s response was “Definitely not.” But as time passed and she watched her characters mature, Rowling started to “feel a bit of a pull” between the unlikely pair.
Ultimately, Rowling left the question of their relationship open at the end of the book because doing otherwise “felt too neat.”
Mr. and Mrs. Longbottom: “The damage is done.”
There is no chance, however, that Neville’s parents, who were tortured into madness by Bellatrix Lestrange, ever left St. Mungo’s Hospital for Magical Maladies.
“I know people really wanted some hope for that, and I can quite see why because, in a way, what happens to Neville’s parents is even worse than what happened to Harry’s parents,” Rowling said. “The damage that is done, in some cases with very dark magic, is done permanently.”
Rowling said Neville finds happiness in his grandmother’s acceptance of him as a gifted wizard and as the new herbology professor at Hogwarts

I DISAGREE! FOR I HAVE A NEW THEORY, WHICH I SHALL NOW NAME THE... Err... Ermm... SINGLE THEORY! Now, almost all(If not all) teachers at Hogwarts weren't married. Lovers who died tragically don't count. They have to have a wife/husband. So, Longbottom 'ere would prolly be single. With an educated guess, I think Luna's tracking the rare Purple-thumbed Wooglemoot. She prolly went off with daddykins raight after Voldy kicked the bucket. It is interesting to note that Rowling didn't leave a subtle sort of detail in the book about Luna's children, if she had any. I would be thinking of something like 'James quickly turned to his left and saw a boy, much like himself, obviously a second year. Blonde hair.. (What colour was Luna's eyes? )' The ending of the book was pretty good, aye. The 19 years laturz SUCK PL0X. =D There's a fanfic ending somewhat like this, and it was meant to be book 7. According to le kirby who found it: Harry got Ginny knocked up and Ron gets married to Hermione. It happened just liek this book 7 wtf. D:

.....
Woah. O.O
If you go on Neopets, to the fan clubs board and mention Harry Potter just ONCE, they'll go nuts. Loads of people on there HATE Ginny, and think Harry should've hooked up with Luna instead. XDD
No... I think Luna should've stayed single. For a while yet, at least. She'll become an archeologist or something and go around searching for Woolly-feathered Bollyquins, or Tar-headed Ferventfairs.

xD Read this, it's a sort of interview with JK over the Bloomsberry website;
Alicepie : What happend to luna, did she get married who to? J.K. Rowling: Luna became a very famous wizarding naturalist who discovered and classified many new species of animals (though, alas, she never did find a Crumple-Horned Snorkack and had, finally, to accept that her father might have made that one up). She ended up marrying (rather later than Harry & co) a fellow naturalist and grandson of the great Newt Scamander (Rolf)!

/Still/ reading this interview. xD
Twinkletoes: Why did you feel that hedwigs death was necessary J.K. Rowling: The loss of Hedwig represented a loss of innocence and security. She has been almost like a cuddly toy to Harry at times. Voldemort killing her marked the end of childhood. I'm sorry... I know that death upset a LOT of people!
*sniff* Tell me about it!

I FINISHED THE BOOK JUST A SHORT WHILE AGO!!! HURRAH!!!! *dances around* I LUFFED IT!!!! The epilogue was abit weird- seeing everbody grown up with kids and stuff- XP but it was good. Kinda like the warriors series, the main charries (Firestar, or Harry, Ron + Hermione) just seem totally diferent- and kinda distant... to me anyways *shrugs*
