{My net died. D: Aye, she didn't have the time, poor girl.)
Echowhisper smiled back, looking at the five bundles of joy. "Their amazing, as you are, dear Barkfoot." He purred. Her kits. His kits. Their kits. A symbol of everlasting unity. Kits. He never thought he would see the day, the day he actually saw his mate's kits. Their kits. Ahh, he was already addicted. Their kits... Their kits... {Short.) {I really dunno. D: I'd say.. two weeks? Because they usually sell dogs at six weeks, and one week seems abit to early for their eyes.)

Ooc: Righty ho!
Bic: Barkfoot shrugged a tight, happy little shrug. "Let's see if we can raise them first, hey," she looked up, her teeth and green eyes glinting in the darkness of the den, a teasing smile on her lips. She pushed Leopardkit forward, his gresyish white fur dimly illuminated. "Here, look. Just like you." At her side, Lionkit swung his head from side to side t the sound of their voices, paws crossed neatly over each other, calmly observing. Barkfoot looked down at him. "Or perhaps this one is like you."

ooc-- You two disgust me. And make me cry.. -.-
bic-- .:Walnutkit:. Walnutkit padded softly over to the kits, feeling very grown up. No - he WAS grown up - he was almost an apprentice although he didn't know when he would actually become one. These kits were so tiny, so frail... Walnukit couldn't call them cute for all of his kind soul but he felt a slight sort of attraction towards them like all maturing cats do and he smiled as he approached. Neither Bankfoot the mother or Echowhisper the father seemed to be paying him much notice but were talking sugar to each other. Walnutkit started making vomiting actions in the background. Finally he gathered himself and padded forard once more, the downey leaves of the nursery smooth and cooling beneath the pads of his feet. The short but sharp outburst of rain had cleared, so everything was slightly wet but this only added to the pleasant sensation. As soon as he approached them - a question sprung into Walnutkits head. What did they do? Gingerly he lifted an ebony paw, extracting his claws. He poked the sandy ginger kit that was apparently fast asleep next to him with one curved claw, making sure that the sharp, painfull point did not touch Lionkit's fur.

Ooc: Why?... *pout*
Bic: Lionkit felt smething hard digging into his side. It didn't reel nice, his papery skin was so soft it felt like the claw, although blunted, was digging along his insides. He couldn't see his assailant and so did what all little kits do, banged his large and clumsy paws on the floor, opening up his small pink mouth and wailing.
Tigerkit swiveled round recognising the voice of a brother and squirmed clumsily to his side, bearing his small pointed teeth, trying to help him although really wriggling over his brother, squashing him and making him bawl even harder.
Barkfoot looked down to see what the fuss was. She gently lifted Tigerkit by the scruff of his neck off his brother. On the upward sweep of Tigerkit's arc through the air Barkfoot spotted Walnutkit. Maternal instincts kicked in and she immediately reached out and pulled all her kits closer in towards her. Dipping her head to Walnutkit's level she fixed her withh a steely glare. "Don't bother explaining," she meowed, "but never do whatever it as you did to Lionkit again." She paused, after all, Walnutkit was only young herself. "Well," she conceded. "Not until Lionkit can take it."

.:Nightfire:. The black she-cat nodded and mewed "Okay Earthstar."She grabbed the fish she caught into her jaw and padded toward the camp. She stopped and then felt her getting pushed in.She picked up her pace and dropped the fresh kill on the pile and then heard her name once again. The gathering? Its about time Earthstar let me go.I've gone what maybe twice as an apprentice and finally I can go once more. She thought to herself as she heard him announce the cats go to the gathering.

.:Walnutkit:. With a embarressed and very hasty nod Walnutkit backed away. He screwed up his face as he turned his ebony, well groomed back on Bankfoot. Those things were weird. If you even touched them they started to screech at you and they weren't asleep but didn't open their eyes. "I'm never having kits" he told himself firmly, padding away towards the fresh kill pile. There was nothing on there that really interested him, he had already eaten that day and had not done anything, instead of food his body was aching for excersise. His ears pricked up as he remembered something. Stripepaw was not going to the gathering. He padded slowly over to the apprentice den - he had never been here before, but had always been in awe of it. "Stripepaw" he called uncertainly, not wanting to penatrate its fantastic looking depths. "You there?"
ooc-- Okay...I'll take them to the gathering. Please get Sunclan there ASAP.

CheetahKit felt the tug of his mother pulling him back. But from what? All he had registered were faraway voices. Perhaps that was because he had been half-asleep? CheetahKit was too tired to think about it at the moment. Stirring in his new position, the kit slowly yawned, a sign that it had awoken, and gingerly made an attempt to lift himself up. However he was clumsy, and the attempt was not a successful one.
Stripepaw heard a familiar voice echoing throughout the den and her ear twitched in annoyance. It was that /kit/ again, the feline thought to herself. She shook her head. Stretching, the she-cat gave a flick of her tail and turned to the den's entrance. She did not move from her current location, but instead replied in her trademark drawl, "Walnutkit? Yeah, I'm here."

Barkfoot sighed after him. She closed her eyes and muttered. "Please Starclan, may my kits not all turn out like him." She winked at Echowhisper. "Though there's nothing wrong with a healthy curiosity.
Tigerkit, having been deposited back on the floor squirmed around, mewling softly, attempting to breach the barrier Barkfoot had made around them with her tail. At his side lay Lionkit, once again listening peacefully to his brother's escape attempts.

As his small little sensitive ears picked up the soft shuffle of his brother, Tigerkit, squirming around, Cheetahkit shifted his curled-up postition and began pawing at his mother's tail absent-mindedly in sync with Tigerkit. He made another attempt to stand and failed again, falling onto Lionkit, front legs flailing slightly in the air, and then rolled off his brother's back. He toppled lightly onto the cold floor and mewed.

.:Walnutkit:. His eyebrows raised, Walnutkit looked back over his shoulder at the renewed mewing and crying of the young kits. He could tell that his life was just going to get noiser. That was...until he moved out of the nursery. Then he turned back to Stripepaw. "Oh um...hi" he stammered, so totally over-awed by the apprentice that he was lost for words. In the two-leg world it was like when a strong fan meets finally the person they have idolized and admired for the most recent part of their lives - they can not speak, only gawpe and point until the person in question either leaves or scorns them. Stripepaw was not much older than Walnutkit but it was obvious out of the two who was the apprentice. Walunkit had strong and firm muscles as well as Stripepaw but they were disguised under rolls of fat that only excersize could wear down. "So..." Walnutkit began, not knowing how to end his sentance. "Wanna....play?" he asked hopefully, not hoping that she indeed wanted to play, although it would be nice, but that she would not scorn him too much. He wanted to impress.
occ-- Aww...bless the likkle kits! =^.^=

Smokefoot was worried. He was paranoid. Leaving his mate, or, more accurately, his mate leaving him was very distressing.
The fact that the female was expecting, and soon, was not helpful. He had pestered her with continuous questions; if she would be alright on her own, if she should mingle with the other clans so close to kitting and so on.
But Badgerfur with her stern and confident ways had left anyhow. Smokefoot sighed, eyes searching the camp. The new kits had been born at last. A small smile flickered across his face; soon it would be Badgerfur urging her kits outside of the nursery.
The thought warmed him and he trotted to the fresh-kill pile in high moods, pulling out a plump wood pigeon, gorging himself on the sweet meat.

Lionkit mewled in distress as for the second time that way one of his siblings crashed on top of him. He rolled over, attempting to shove Cheetahkit off with his feet, although his crys were no longer so distressed as he smelt the scent of his parents and family close by.
Tigerkit turned at the sound of the cry's, but once they changed from frantic to mere squealing he turned his attention back to try and breach the defences Barkfoot had put around him, singlemindedly climbing, slipping, then climbing again.
Barkfoot tensed as the two kits began clawing her. They were small, but their claws were still pointed and they seemed to have no idea of the protocool that dictated they were to be sheathed inside the dens. "Ow ow ow ow ow," she muttered to herself as she flicked her tail, attempting to dislodge the clambering kits. "Ow," she muttered, as Tigerkit tumbled backwards onto the heap of fur that was his other siblings.

Shiningfrost looked blankly at her paws for a short moment. She wondered whether or not she still loved Tanglewood or if she now loved Earthstar...but no one would believe her either way. She looked the opposite ways from Cornflower, smirking. "I saved his life, that should be the answer there. But when I didn't even receive a thank you, you kind of get discouraged." Sighing and shaking her head, the distressed medicine cat returned to her den of privacy.

Auroraspirit searched around camp with her pretty green eyes, remaining unnoticed as warriors who hadn't been invited to the gathering remained behind. Her beautiful brown fur blew softly in the wind, but that aggrivated her. She'd been told she was loved by...three, four toms? No, she was done. Besides, all she wanted to be was loyal since her father...well, yeah. Sighing, she began to lick her paws.

Midnightfire's yellowish blue eyes searched the camp. She hadn't gone to the gathering this evening. Midnightfire's short, black fur looked glossy as if she had just cleaned it. Her eyes fell to the nursery. "May I come in?" She asked softly at the entrance. Midnightfire was normally a sometimes loud and tempermental catr but she just adored kits so she was soft around them. She poked her head in, not waiting for an answer and sat near the edge, looking at the kits with sorrow and joy in her eyes. An odd combination but for good reasons. "They're beautiful."
