ooc-Well thats what happens when you pick on your friends Meowzzah!
SunClan Sunset looked at Coldbreath and hissed under her breath low enough that he couldn't have heard."Ungratefull lump of nothing."She slashed her tail through the air and then jumped down and bounded toward Moongaze and Maplepaw.I wonder how she will do in this challenge? She thought to herself and then sat down beside her mate and watched the apprentice practice before the actual thing.
BoulderClan Oakpaw shifted her paws uneasily but then sighed and gave up.She turned tail and padded back to Coldheart and mewed "And you were saying?"She guessed that she might as well give the guy a chance seeing that he was trying but not hard enough.
ooc-Fine Meowzzah I'll let Oakpaw give Coldheart one chance if not then bye bye kind kitty.

Grumbling to himself about the inconsiderate qualities of cats these days, it took a while for Coldheart to noticed Oakpaw there, actually speaking to him politely for once. Blinking slowly in a suspicious manner, the black-and-white tom eyed her up in down with a thoughtful expression, deliberating on whether he should accept her unusual politeness or just shoot her down like she usually did to him. Deciding on the former finally, he flicked his tail and twitched his nose. "As I was saying earlier, try not to let your stubborn side or cockiness take over. You could be on the winning side and then the losing one in a matter of minutes, even seconds, if you don't think clearly and concentrate." Pausing for a quick moment, the warrior ran his tongue over one paw before continuing. "So all you must do is lay low and let your opponent do all the work; let him or her tire themselves out earlier so you can finish them off easily. You understand?" She'd better understand. If she replied with a smart-aleck remark one more time, he swore he would go berserk on her apprentice butt.

Dawnbreeze headed for Mintstar, Willowkit nudging Lightningkit along. "Mintstar," the tortoisehsell queen mewed tentatively, "I'm sorry for our disappearance..Lightingkit wandered off and Shiningfrost saved him from drowning when he fell into the water. Willowkit and I went to investigate and bring him back, but Earthstar refused to let him leave..I didn't want to leave Lightningkit, so Willowkit and I stayed in Lakeclan camp." Her ears flattened apologetically.

ooc- I know.Thank you Meowster.
bic- BoulderClan
Oakpaw half listened to Coldheart. The other half was thinking about winning the fighting contest and the other to her "mentor".Clearing her throat she mewed sarcasticly aloud"Too bad you didn't have time to TEACH me anything about fighting how shall I ever win with such a mouse brained mentor."Hopefully the apprentices heard that and though that she was plain dumb on training and far behind. She then looked at him and added in quietly "I would agree with myself but alteast you said something smart to help me out so don't take the mouse brained this harshly because you hardly are one except for sometimes when you are and think you are the best."She smiled proudly and waited for him to say anything else or she would leave him standing there. Mintstar hissed, hackles rising at Dawnbreeze's comment.
"What if they attacked you? What if the clan never saw you again? What put you into the position that you thought you could just stroll into enemy territory? You should have come STRAIGHT BACK. Don't you care about Willowkit's safety? She was supposed to be made an Apprentice today!" she snarled, not so much in anger towards Dawnbreeze but Lakeclan in general. Speaking to her at the current moment was suicidal.

.:Lakeclan:. ”Three…two…one…..GO” Earthstar called, very pleased although slightly disappointed that his self-elected position as leader had not been challenged. It would have been more fun if someone had…then he could have a nice juicy argument. Mmm….he thought, smacking his lips at the thought. Shaking his header distractedly, Earthstar turned his emerald green eyes back onto the two nervous looking apprentices. He wondered suddenly what they were feeling. Competitiveness beyond anything else he supposed - and if they weren’t, they should be. Earthstar nodded his great head, approving his own thoughts. He was not too interested in what was happening, seeing as none of the cats were in Lakeclan but thought his duties as leader of all four clans now should include keeping the score. Sighing in an indulgent way, Earthstar thought about what he had just said to himself. Leader of all four clans. He nodded again; he liked these contests.
.:Boulderclan:. Alarmed that the deputy would be talking to him, Snakecharm leapt into the air, losing his balance and sinking his claws into the soft, downy earth to steady himself. ”W…what - me?” he squeaked, looking round as if to check if Crimsonaura was not addressing another Snakecharm. ”Fine thanks” he mewed, suddenly on his guard. Why was she talking to him? Did she want him to do anything? Or had she guessed his current thoughts. So many secrets had accumulated inside Snakecharm’s slender body that now he was instantly suspicious of any action that was not completely usual. Although perhaps he wanted to leave the clan …he didn’t want to be thrown out.

ooc-No one argued with Earthstar for leaders position ehh?Well you shall get a suprise.

BoulderClan Oakpaw stiffened as she heard Earthstar command practicly every cat at this gathering.Who made him the leader of everybody. All the leaders have the same amount of power.Nahh Miststar has the most...She thought to herself as she padded up to Earthstar and mewed loudly "Who made you the king of all clans ehh Earthstar!Your old, stupid and mouse-brained while Mintstar is young,energetic..."She went on and on about how Mintstar was better then Earthstar but then stopped as the conversation would just turn up to a dissaster."Anyways my point is that you are a stupid mouse-brained excuse for a leader and you shouldn't be leading this stupid contests anyways. You are too old and I bet even an elder could beat the fur out of you wait no not a elder I bet the smalled mouse in this whole FOREST could be the fur out of you so you better step down and let Mintstar..."She paused and then glanced at the other leaders and added in "And Skystar and Snowstar take charge as well not only you!"She then turned her tail and left him mostly likely wanting to claw her fur off but she knew that her leader wouldn't let him do that and StarClan wouldn't have like that either.
ooc-I love this character soo much.-huggles-

Dawnbreeze surprisingly remained calm. She didn't flinch as Mintstar reprimanded her, she only blinked. "It would have seemed less threatening if we went. I told Willowkit to go back, but she followed because Lightningkit is kin, and she did not want to leave, so I let her come. We are safe, is that not all that matters? And we owe Shiningfrost..without her, Lightningkit would be DEAD." She hissed the last word, letting a bit of emotion get to her.
Meanwhile, Willowkit pushed forward. "Will I still be made an apprentice?" she asked, her eyes wide with worry that she would be stuck a kit forever.

Mintstar's tail lashed indignantly. "If Boulderclan had an ounce of order among its members, Lightningkit wouldn't have "dissapeared" in the first place. Traitors like Coldbreath; clan members who don't think that clans were created for a reason. CAN'T YOU LEARN THAT CLANS HAVE LIVED AND WILL LIVE WITHOUT SHARING PLEASANTRIES?" she growled, walking away to show that the conversation was over. She paused, looking at Willowkit. "I need to think about it."
Thinking over it, who were warriors she could actually depend on.
Hum.
Falconwing.
Crimsonaura.
Coldheart.
Her ears turned towards Oakpaw, giving a flourishing opinion on who should be running the gathering. She felt a smile tear at her muzzle. There was hope.

Willowkit looked crestfallen, her head dropping. With a small sigh, she padded away from her mother, finding some kind of rock to sit on, and watched the fishing contest.
Dawnbreeze looked at Willowkit, then at Mintstar. Suddenly, she started wondering about who Lightningkit's real mother and father was, and how the newly born kit had arrived in camp in the first place, smelling of almost all the clans put together. "Mintstar!" she yowled, running back over to the Boulderclan leader. "Who is Lightningkit's mother?" She hissed, so that only Mintstar could hear. There was a quiet determination in her green eyes.

Sunclan Maplepaw's heart lurched in her chest at the starting signal. None the less she tried to keep clam. "Stay calm..." she heard Moongaze's voice replaying over and over in her head. She took a deep breath and looked down into the water, her creamy paw poised in mid-air. Her liquid amber eyes watched carefully. Then, in a swift movement, she lashed her paw out into the water. She felt a smooth body brush against her paw as the fish swam quickly away. The cinnamon apprentice's brow furrowed. If at first you don't suceed, try again! She once again poised her paw over the gently ungulating water. She shivered slightly as the cool breeze blew against her wet paw. "I'd better not let any water drip from my paw into the water- it might scare the fish." she thought as she pulled her dripping paw a safe distance from the surface of the water. "Speaking of which, I probably shouldn't let them see my shadow, either." Quickly but smoothly, so as not to scare the fish, she moved so that her shadow was not casted over the fish. As soon as she had done so more fish came and joined the others, swimming sedately down below in the quiet water, completely unaware that at this very moment any one of them might lose their lives. Maplepaw watched for a moment, sizing up the different fish. Selecting one, she once again made a swift sweeping movement with her paw. This time her claws snagged something below! It begain to wriggle. SIlently rejoicing, she quickly hauled the fish on shore. It flopped around her desperately. Not sure exactly what to do, she pounced on it (a bit awkwardly) and killed it with a bite to its throat. Swiping her lips with her tongue to try and rid herself of the odd taste of fish, she looked breifly up at Moongaze, a look of almost unbeleif that she had caught one in her amber eyes. Smiling at her mentor, she then turned back to the water for another try...

Snakecharm's alarmed and startled jump caught her interest. It would seem that she had caught him off guard; perhaps he had been in some sort of reverie, lost in thought or in an indecisive decision. Raising one eyebrow, the deputy chuckled dryly, swinging her head from side to side with a small grin playing. "Of course you, silly. There's no other Snakecharm around here. Unless there's one you know of that I don't, hm?" Lashing her tail playfully, she inspected his posture with her insightful, piercing green gaze a moment longer before continuing to speak. "I'm glad to hear you're alright. You've seemed so... I don't know the exact word for it. Jumpy. Seclusive. Clandestine, even. Is there something bothering you?" Concern lit up her orbs for a brief second, and she tilted her head to the side as if that would give her a better view of the tomcat before her. Surely, if something were troubling him, he would confide in her, right? Then again, maybe he wouldn't want to. If that were the case, she wouldn't press him; it would be outright rude. Instead of rushing the warrior, she calmly waited for his answer and for him to recollect his thoughts together coherently.
Both of his tawny ears vibrating violently atop his skull at the starting shout from Earthstar, Cheetahpaw instantly went into concentration, furrowing his yellowish brow as he glanced down at the clear water in his wake. Focusing more so on what was underneath the pristine surface, he could make out small, and some large, shapes that were fish flitting to and fro with carefreeness. Recalling his deputy's words once more, he held his breath, waiting for the moment to strike. A fish, fat and lean from his onlook of it, paused near his section and, without much thought to it, his paw flew forwards and connected with the body, swiftly flipping it out of its supposed safe haven and onto the ground beside him. Bewildered for a moment, his instincts came to play before the fish cold flop back to safety and finished it with a quick bite to its head. Seeing as it wasn't moving, the apprentice was satisfied. Well, I got one. How hard can it be to get another? More confident, the BoulderClan tom settled onto his haunches carefully, eagerly awaiting another one of the mouse-brained animals to swim near enough. Sure enough, another took the one he had killed's place, unattentive to its demise. Flicking his tail, his paw darted out, and to his disappointment, came out empty. Well then. Maybe his first catch was a fluke and he only managed the catch by pure luck alone. Frustrated on this way of thought, Cheetahpaw scowled, trying to rearrange his thoughts more precisely. He wouldn't let one slip get in the way. No way in StarClan.
Coldheart snarled under his breath, his lips near-to quirking in a ragged snarl of rebuke. Oakpaw sure knew how to get under his pelt. Biting down on his lip, hard, the black-and-white cat inhaled deeply. "Alright, I'll admit it. I've been procrastinating a bit. But that doesn't mean I can't make it up to you; like I'm doing now. Just listen to my piece of advice, and adhere to it. It shouldn't be too hard for some cat like you, even." Sighing at her challenging outburst to Earthstar, a trace of a smile lit his muzzle. You tell him.

A leader wasn't supposed to show more compassion or interest with certain cats in her clan than the next, but as her apprentice's gold pelt bounded over to the fishing competition, she was surged with interest. Although Mintstar could admit that he lacked the tolerance to do the less than exciting jobs of an apprentice, his determination was no laughing matter.
She sat, tail curled over paws, a little away, watching and waiting.
